is it really true that NOA2 has expiration?i have a friend that still in philippines she already have MCN the problem is her F is jobless at the moment so she didnt get any schedule for interview nor medical coz shes still waiting for her F to get a job.now shes worried about what will happen to her application when her NOA2 expire.

I finished my process within 5 months...I'm already in US...depends on ur case and service center I'm from CSC and the process is so quick ..gudluck

Before filing k1application never hesitate to call USCIS if u have questions or issue about your situation ,again all of us has unique case here so call USCIS if something bothers u..dont gamble ur chance ...make sure that all requirements they needed /looking for are complete(read instructions carefully), once u meet all the requirements the next step will follow and make ur process faster ..we don't want RFE this will cause delay of ur application...if u are a 1000 percent sure that your materials are all good now send it to them..wait for Noa1 it takes 5 days to two weeks depends on ur service center,while waiting for approval u need to make yourself in condition eat proper foods to make sure you are healthy on ur medical exam...I know it is too early for medical thing but let me remind you that it's better to make sure ur healthy rather than sorry ...when u receive NOA2 dis is the time you need to start to gather documents(beneficiary) like birth certificate,NBi,cenomar,and affidavite of support from your fiance(petitioner)

Proof of relationship...they didn't look for chat logs etc they just want pictures...they will only ask for that if the pictures u present are not convincing...never hesitate to call NVC after you receive the NOA2 ask for Ur case number they will tell u to wait within 8 weeks dont listen , keep on calling ,after two weeks u will get it..ask tehm when they will able to send ur case in USEmbassy , here you can estimate or decide what schedule that will fit on your case...we dont want to ahve interview and then later on we will just send home coz our case is still not on der system.why you need to set appointment too early?yes you need coz its a requirements in st lukes that you should have documents that that shows your case number in it.,if u already have appointment letter from them now go to st lukes and ahve medical,dont be nervous its easy as pie :)when you finish ur medical time for interview in this stage time to show them all the documents they look for,present good materials you will get good result,you need to know your fiancé ,again your visa approval is really in your hands not to them ,so just answer them wth honesty and u will get what u want for sure u will have your visa approval

I arrived here in US last September 17 ,yes exact date when I received my visa (we are too excited to be together hihihi)my POE is in Guam ,people der are friendly and hospitable ,they asked few questions and explain what k 1 dos and donts etc ... After Guam ,lets see and witness the beauty of Hawaii, they have nice big airport I won't be surprised if someone will get lost or miss der Flight coz its really big..I met one Pilipino miss her flight so I helped her to find her gate .. After 4 hrs of waiting next flight is Denver...long travel but I'm doing this for us (for me and for him)enough reason for me to have motivation and to be brave ..Denver to Michigan takes 2:45 hrs almost der ,just watching my watch the whole time to reached the exact time ..I'm too excited on this part ..after 2:45hrs I run fast I can't wait to be with him hihihi and can't wait for a big hug and big kiss!! now we are in the same house,happy and satisfied ,,we know this is just the start of our new journey but I'm not worried at all coz I know he is with me and we will face it together....good luck and have more power!!!

the questions are very basic.... What's the name of petitioner,birthday ,age,when and how many times he visit you,when I d last time u saw him and what's states he lives,wat is his job etc.?...very basic so don't worry just know ur fiancé and u will pass

This may sound naive but, what does the BC stand for/mean that you had to show at your interview? We know what the NBI,CENOMAR,AFFDVT OF SUPPORT documents are. first are you sure that u receive the NOA2 not one?coz if u r really sure well u need to call NVC ask /to know if ur case r on der system.

I arrived on Friday the 13th at the Detroit International Airport. Let me tell you the little bump I had to overcome.

So, I was at the immigration counter and the officer looks at my paper. Asks me a few questions. Looks at the paper and then calls on his walkie talkie: Supervisor needed for K1 at counter 38.

Supervisor: Do you know that he can send you back to the Philippines right now? You were supposed to be here in August.

Me: calm blank look while praying...

Supervisor: Where were you?

Me: I was in Singapore, working.

Supervisor: You were supposed to be here in August.

Me: Well, look. (Pointing to my passport) My visa was issued in July and I have until next week to be here.

Supervisor: No, look (pointing to the I-129F). This (Feb approval stamp) means you can get married. This one (passport) says you gotta get here. Now, you have to get married within 3 months or else you have to go home.

Me: Yes, I'm getting married on the 4th of Oct. Thank you.

Lesson learned: Be calm. Explain your side. And I really don't think that the approved I-129F means your K1 visa is approved.

congrats Jowsa! when was your interview? i had mine Sept. 12 and just waiting for my visa. Visa application status shows, READY, your case is open. How about yours? some of the other applicants that i know on the same date that i had, their status are already in AP. i am bit worried coz it seems to me that they are not even reviewing or checking my paperwork. hopefully in 2 days i will have a good update from them. i will have my CFO after i got my visa so i will not go back to just get the sticker. i am looking forward to have my visa this week... my status is already issued sept 10 was my interview.. my status after my interview was ready then later afternoon same day becme AP and the nextday it bcme issued...

i went der last aug 27,if u want to get a morning sked u need to go there 3:30 ,bring all the documents u ahve for interview for ur safety ,sometimes they ask things u dont expect .in my case they asked me to provide a copy of chatlogs(with HIM/and wth his family) .make sure u know ur fiance's mother"S maiden name too ..2 ids and a photocopy of it...

wait for a letter from US embassy to make sure taht your case are already in der system...or call them just make sure before setting ur appoinment, i set my appointment before when i saw my status "READY" and guess what happend? i just sent home coz still not on der system,not only that coz i sent home i need to reschedule my interview againwhich need to wait 2-3 weeks to egt a new one :/

u can attend cfo before or even after u recv ur visa its up to u ..but if u dotn want to waste ur time waiting for next step then u can start to prepare ur documents and attend seminar...

My boyfriend can not find the divorce decree since 17-18 years ago he can not remember the date. But he recognized that the court where the divorce court to proceed.

He divorced at Harris County District Clerk Houston, TX.

We are worry so much.

My interview schedule was 7:30 am ,since i live in province and trying not to miss my bus to go home i though going early in embassy will help to finish ryt away (IM WRONG)..

I went to US embassy at 4:30 am,theres a lot of applicants already in line ...6:00am when they allowed us to enter in the gate of embassy ,first ..they told us that we need to ready all the DS forms 2 copies of 156,157 and 1 copy of 156k together wth a passport...after checking that u will proceed to embassy for scanning ur bags...electronics/food are not allowed inside ,so if ever u have leave that to your relatives or whoever who is wth you that time..after scanning u will fall inline again for them to check ur papers and gve you your number...then proceed to the waiting area....you need to review your DS Forms carefully and dont leave any blanks ..if you are sure enough that ur papers is good go to window 39 and leave it der...waiting is the hardest part dotn let ur number pass or else it will take time for it to pop up again..im a little bit disappointed in this part coz most of the co-applicants who came late finished der interview earlier than me..its already 11:30 am and guess what my number still not pop up on monitor...im a lil bit worried but no choice need to wait more...after few minutes finally they satrt to get my finger prints ...and my interview wth filipino (she asked for my BC,NBI,CENOMAR,AFFDVT OF SUPPORT and PICTURES )and american consul followed(HE JUST ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MY FIANCE AND I SO I FND IT EASY)(ITS TAKES 5-10 minutes interview for each consul) im hungry and tired but when i heard that my visa is approved i feel happY AND i feel safe ... time to wait again ..3:30pm when my name called on window 73 he told me that just wait for my visa to be deliver and told me that i can go home now....the end hiihihi

consul asked this questions during my interview,since im from philippines dis is my responsed ...why do u want to marry in US ? my fiance stay in Philippines for only two weeks,due to his work he cant stay longer.as you know getting married in philippines takes time ..we need time for preparations one and also have sessions for seminars too attend( FOR SURE CONSUL knows about PHILIPPINES they well trained)WHO MADE DECISION FOR YOU TO GET MARRIED IN US ?my answer" both of us " and he said ok ur visa approved congratulations...
