  1. My fiancée arrived in the US on Nov. 29, 2015. We had planned to get married this month(January). She started feeling bad and returned to Brasil on Jan. 9 to resolve her medical issues. I started a new job and do not have insurance to help her. I am at a total loss as to what to do. I called the USCIS and the gentleman I spoke with read to me that if she left we would have to start the K-1 Visa process all over again. Is there any way that something can be done to get her back without doing everything all over again? Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks you

  2. My fiancee lives in Brasil. I am getting ready to send in our paperwork for her visa. We were planning on her coming here in July and get married. She would then go back to Brazil and come back to live here in the US once she got her Visa. Is this possible or do we have to wait to get married until she does get her Visa? Thanks for your help one and all.

    Tony

  3. Good Morning,

I am glad you are ready to get this process moving. My fiancee is in Brazil and I know how hard it is to have them so far away. I have just one question regarding all your paperwork. You said you had letters from your parents? Did you have letters from her parents as well? Both my parents have passed away but hers are still with us. Would letters from her parents suffice? Also, are the letters neccessary or is this just added information for the verification of the ongoing relationship?

    Thanks and again, congratulations
