only my father had case expedited due to medical reasons 

but USCIS said as its already approaching near approval

so case was expedited but i didn't send the requested document as Representative suggest i should wait for normal processing to get approved.

in parallel case my mother , whose case was not expedited was already been approved

Hi Everyone, 

May be any one here can answer or suggest what to do here.

• I filled i-131 advance parole for my parents (father and mother) with concurrent filling of i-130 and i-485 in October 2018
• Its already 7 months 
• last month i called uscis to expedite the case, representative expedited my father's case only
• i can only see expedited request and supporting document request online on my father's Case

Now yesterday i received email saying my mother's advance parole i131 case have been approved. which was not even expedited.


So my question is should i wait for my father's case to get approve through normal processing? or USCIS is expecting me to provide supporting document for expedited request.and  have put hold on the normal processing as well. ?

I just received my passport today!

So for those are waiting for passport in lahore pakistan

It took straight 3 days after interview to receive my passport

Interview date 16 september

Pickup passport date 19 september

Had my visa interview yesterday i.e 16 sept

Checked ceac status today which shows"issued"

after 1 month of wait NVC has completed our case from F2a to Cr1.

details of case is

My case was completed by NVC (april 2 2014 ) ( done with i864 and iv package n everything) .was waiting for interview to be scheduled at consulate but NVC Did not schedule it coz my PD was't current yet as i was in F2a category.

But recently my spouse has become US ( may 28 ,2014) we have sent certificate of citizenship to NVC on same day. But from that day (15 bussiness days) our case has not been updated.we only recevied an email stating its being recieved and "under review"

1.After email "upgradtion is under review" how long does NVC takes to upgrade case to cr1??

2.If case got completed how long will it takes to schedule interview??

Call NVC and ask about NII and Case number usually it takes 2-4 weeks

My case got completed on 3rd april and haven't received any IL email/post yet.

My case category is F2A

1) My case got completed by NVC on 3 April 2014 n my PD is 2 July 2013.

Its been 2 months now we haven't received Interview Letter yet. what could be the possible reason of it?

does that retrogress(seen on visa-bulletin) causing the delay ?

i have seen few People of F2A (PD after august2013) category getting IL letter.

2) My wife will have her neutralization Interview in this week. Should we upgrade our case from F2A to Cr1?

will it help us getting the IL letter soon?

Yes it Is must .

You have to fill it. Its to choose the agent (address) for future crosspondings

its better to choose your address as agent

Lately islamabad embassy is pretty slow in scheduling interviews.

My case got completed on 2 April and I am still waiting for the interview letter/email.

I got Case completion Email from NVC on 4/2/2014 but haven't received any packet 4 or IL yet :|

It is suggested that translation should be done from a country of birth and should also be attested by their ministry of foreign affair plus from the attority who issues it

In case of pakistan it should be done by Nadra ( who issue computerizes Birth cert these days)

for me it took 1 month for Usics to send case to NVC and then 1.5 weeks to generate Case Number

my case was in nabraska too

You can file for Year 2013 (if you still have time)

and send that filing letter along with the previous Year's Tax returns
