  1. Yes I've been talking to the manager at the post office for 3 weeks now. Trying to complete for i90 to get a replacement but none of the options apply to me....it says click this box if lost or stolen and attach fee or click this box if card was sent but not received and was returned to USCIS. It was sent but not received but not returned to USCIS and i have letter from the post office saying they lost it so I don't which box to tick.

Trying to go to England for xmas on my i551 stamp but getting information from people that have had no problem traveling with the stamp and others who were refused boarding onto the plane.   All this because the post office lost / stole my green card

  2. My application for ROC was approved and I was sent a tracking number for my GC. It was meant to have been delivered on Monday oct 29 but still hasn't arrived. The tracking status is"waiting for delivery scan"  The local post office have been searching for 4 days. i went to the immigration office yesterday and told them. They said my options are to wait to see if it arrives or apply for replacement and pay the fees again.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Did the card turn up eventually?

Did you get the fees for a replacement reimbursed from Post office?

How can I request an alternative delivery method for a new card?

    Thanks.

  3. I arrived in a K1 in April and 2 weeks ago applied for AOS.

I went to the DMV in Parma and asked them about driving.

They informed me that you can drive on your Uk license for up to 1 year and that it is best to apply for your OH license before you apply for your social security card. AOS, EAD wasn't mentioned but she said it gets very complicated if you wait until after your Ss.

I was told that I will have to do the written part and the practical part of the test.

    Hope this helps

  4. Hi jadeyhexed,

I will be booking my flight with Virgin soon for me and my Labrador as I have heard good things about them when it comes to looking after pets.

Hugo has his pet passport just in case we need to come back to the uk but apart from his "fit to fly" certificate I'm not aware of any other documentation.

Please can you advise if I am incorrect here. Thank you

  5. I wonder if someone can please give me some hope.

In 2004 I was diagnosed with Depression and spent 3 months in hospital and in 2010 I was struck down again by my ex partner leaving me for someone ele.

I was also diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and depression. I made some bad choices and in May and July 2010 I took an overdose and was in hospital overnight.

I have remained on anti depressants ever since but I'm glad to say that I have been well for 3 years now.

I am extremely worried that I will not pass the medical examination due to my history.

My Doctor has said she will write a letter saying that I am not a threat to myself or anyone else.

To summarise, I am "the best" I have ever been and I think testament to that is that fact that my mother passed away on Christmas Eve last year and I have dealt with that in a productive way with no signs of my past issues reoccurring

The thought of waiting 5 months for processing and then possible denial is difficult to come to terms with.

If anyone has any experience of a similar situation I would appreciate you sharing your story.

    Thanks in advance

    Stazie.
