  1. Unfortunately, your convenience will not be an acceptable reason.

Lots of people work while studying for their credentials. Lots if people study alone.

I really don't see why you can't go home and study. I suspect USCIS will feel the same way.

If you extension is denied, you will have to immediately leave the US. Your visitor visa also is automatically revoked.

Given your explanation, you should not file for the extension IMHO.

Thank you Aaron , Thats all I was debating If I should go or not... My Uncle wanted me to Stay and prepare here in US without any disturbances but I wanted to check or do some research first.

  2. What would be the reason that you must stay in the US from August to December? Why can't you go back to Canada and then return in December for the test? Why do you need more than six months in the US?

Most people would fly home an come back in December. What explanation would you give when requesting the extension?

The Only reason I want to stay back is I have formed a group who we are preparing together, good for motivation.. I am required to study for more then 8 hours a day.. and I would need solid 4 months of preparation... I also can stay with my family here.. If i go back then I would have to work and would not have sufficient time .

  3. Here`s my dilemma, I am a Canadian PR holder awaiting my Canadian Citizenship approval. I went to my home country for Vacation and on my way back I made a stop at my friends & relatives in USA. When i took the VISA from my home country they have given me 5 years Visa.

My question is : Can i extended my stay in USA by filing an Extension. I am a Foriegn trained dentist.. I had already taken National Board Part 1 2 years ago and Now I want to stay and take part 2. My due date is in December and My date on i 94 is in August.. ?

Has someone been in my situation?

    Thank you

    Franky
