but said he needs supervisor approval hence gave me a decision cannot be made. But the officer said he does not see an issue you will get an update by end of today post supervisor approval. I am not worried is this normal??

Hi guys just got a news , spoke to NVC my case has been completed on 24th April but I received checklist on 25 fr pcc again called NVC a guy said don't worry your case has been completed n u can submit ur pcc at the time of interview. Dint have to say nything, n m in queue for interview date m so happy , thanks visa journey n all those members who helped me out to to get through this process. Again thanks visa journey is a place where you can spend your time while u await for your visa call n it really helps

. Hi I saw your timeline it says your IV documents reached on 3/21 n entered in the system on 25/3 . How disuse find out that info bcs my IV documents reached on 07/04 n I called NVC they we don't know abt ur parcel might be on the building but not in the system , do you have a same experience n my agent he didn't wrote exact address on parcel . Ny suggestion ?

Hi guys I m in bit of confusion my agent sent IV document on 2nd April to NVC ,31 Rochester avenue,portsmouth, boston, USA -03801 this address thru dhl n they received on 7th April person named MUH.M recieved courier . Now I have been calling since yesterday they r sayin we don't know abt ur parcel u need to allow us 10 days . Now m getting angry on my agent first of all he dint write proper address . Guys do u have ny idea how u know that wen did NVC received ur parcel? N how long it takes to enter in the system??? Plz ny reply appreciate

yes I had it b4 it was walk in now frm 24th march onwards u need to book appointment but don't worry u ll get appointment very next day for pcc n they ll ask passport copy only but better bring ur checklist or ny other document with u. Best luck

If you have your old passport send a copy of that instead.

is it possible to send a cancelled passport copy to NVC instead of waiting for new passport n bring new passport to interview?

I wanted to second that. My wife (beneficiary) got her PCC at the Kolkata Regional Passport Office about 3 weeks ago. She did have the NOA2 with her but they never asked for it. On the PCC application form she did declare that she is married but they never asked to see her marriage certificate or asked her to change her passport (last name change and/or adding hubby's name in the passport). She was in and out of the RPO in about an hour with the PCC in hand. I had asked her to get 2 originals so we could send one to NVC and the other she can carry to Mumbai.

I can't believe u guys r lucky here in ahmedabad PSK officer said you have to amend your wife's name for that you have to reissue your passport n my agent suggest me same thing or else you ll get pcc written status single as I don't have enough time to think I ll reissue my passport bcs it's too much headache to convince them to issue pcc n they will not issue

Totally freaked out . Went to Passport seva Kendra to get PCC before checklist ,officer told me you can't have it right now as you have to re issue your passport to amend your wife''s name on it. I dint know this before nor my agent told me. I m in the middle of NVC process paid AOS bill waiting for IV to pay but now so pissed off . She tried to put MFS but didn't go through as she said rules have changed that you can put NRA you have to enter either SSN number ITIN number which I don't have it. Is it gonna be a problem if she filed tax return as a single? Please need your help

Hi saylin, I have a question regarding AOS . My wife is a USC n earned 30k in 2013 n she lives with her parents n brother . My question is is she qualify to sponsor me alone herself without ny other sponsor? Do I have to count her family as a household member ? N m I eligible for i864ez ? Coz I m the only one beneficiary n she earns 30k a yr n wat else do I have to include in my AOS package? Pls ny help will be helpful . Thanks in advance

Thank you! I got an E-Mail. I also got a 2nd email before that..checklist that Police Clearance Certificate is missing. Which is bs since I sent it in. I will call NVC Monday to figure out why. But appointment letter did say to bring the PCC to the interview. So she should be good to go.

I just complete DS261 form and I got the confirmation email.But after that when I tried to log in in the form portal its showing me the error message and saying my case is the process of termination .Why its showing me that ?I am so confused please help me.

My wife went with the DS-261 confirmation and explained to them that PCC is required to be submitted to NVC as part of the IV application. They agreed and told her that there will first be a police inquiry and then she will have to go back to the get the actual PCC.

It means then don't have ny problem issuing pcc before interview letter at ahmedabad office. I m planning to go to PSK wid my NOA2 n snapshot of AOS fees payment portal. Is dat k?

But if you go to ahmedabad PSK they r saying if you want pcc for USA immigration you must need appointment letter until you don't get your pcc n there is no clear instruction on PSK site about immigration pcc it's bullshit

About. Indian pcc if you receive checklist saying submit pcc you can call NVC n tell them that you will bring your pcc during your interview because without interwove appointment letter RPO will not issue pcc. N nyway if you visit Mumbai consulates site it is written that you bring your pcc n medical during interview...

My wife went to get her PCC last week in Ahmedabad, India, they said they require some sort of "checklist" or something with a bar code from NVC. They want to know on what basis is she getting her PCC done? Any thoughts on this?

Ye m sort of confused about police clearance what to do now because if I wait for IV payment done it will be another month for waiting to get pcc done . Can i print out the page of IV n AOS processing page n can get pcc done? Is it possible????

Hi guys m from India NVC has received my case on 16th jan n still no case number yet?????? Does nyone know when I ll get my case number???? Furthermore I have heard that for indian police clearance you have to wait for NVC letter unless you won't get police clearance . If I wait for NVC letter I think I have to wait 1 month for police clearance which is too much . Does nyone have ny idea if we can submit police clearance during our interview stage????
