I am moving address so need to fill out an AR-11, but what is my status if I am waiting for AOS, am I a permanent resident? or what should I put under other? I came as a K1 visa, I have received my work permit, but have no idea of my status.

How long does it usually take from getting biometrics for an AOS to actually having the interview and getting the permanent residency, I am quite lost on the whole process. I had my biometrics done last week for my AOS, what is next? I asked the immigration people at the biometrics and they just said wait for a letter, and walked off...hmmm. Thanks!

If I went in to my district office tomorrow with a doctors letter faxed to me from the UK about a family member with 7-10 days left to live, how long would it take to get my AP permit?

When you go online to book an appointment for a temporary EAD through infopass, can you book an appointment before the 90 days are up and schedule it for after, or do you have to have passed the 90 days before you can actually do the online appointment booking. Thanks!

Yes, you should check MSC/NBC dates for EAD and AP. For I-485, you are supposed to check processing dates for your local office.

But the local office dates are completely off -- they post the "oldest" I-485 cases they are adjudicating, which makes the dates off by a couple of months at least. Right now, my local office says they are processing AOS applications of June 8 '05, while I filed Sept 2 05, and I got my interview letter a month ago.

Thanks, that settles that confusion. So when looking at procession times for EAD should I look at the National Benefits Center processing times? I am yet to receive anything past NOA1. When does one look at the local district office processing times, in my case Oklahoma city. The date on my NOA1 for EAD is December 14th.

I was wondering if this is normal. My local office is Oklahoma city but at the bottom of my EAD and AOS NOA1 it says Lee's Summit, MO so I am guessing this means Kansas city, but why would my local office be Kansas city when oklahoma city is the local office here?
