We just recieved a notice to come in for an I 130 interview after a year of i485 interview in chicago field office, the letter stated the name of the interview officer to ask for and also listed 4 things to bring to the interview income taxes, joint car registration credit card statements and bank statement. Any tips please thanks you

Pls Darnell, help on my case, I wa told by l2 officer that my case has just been forwarded to the department for a decision. Is this true has anyone witnessed this issue before? It's chicago field office and it's been 8 months post interview . Need help please.

It's been 8 months post my interview, and yesterday I called the Customer center and spoke with an L2 officer. He told me my case was just transferred to the department for decision. Has anybody encountered this before? Your input will be highly appreciated.

I was having problem checking my status, but last nite got a text and email saying case had been update. But to my surprise, nothing was done on my case it's just repeating the update I got last march that my interview had been scheduled for April 8 2014. I don't know what's going in and been waiting for approval since the day of the interview which was April the 8th this year . Has anybody witnessed this before ?

They told me to call back by July 15th . Please any additional input

The lady was nice and she didn't give any verbal decision just said we are okay and will hear from them

Mine is now 40 days after the interview and still nothing the IO just said she needed to review our case and we should expect the decision in the mail. Anybody knows what might be the problem? I called the 1800 number and was told to wait another 2 months.
