Thank you all for your help and support, we couldn't have done it without your help. The interview was a breeze, the interviwer very pleasant and helpful. Thanks for replying Chantal&Mario, not sure what you mean by IV Package? There are so many packages and forms i have lost track. When we first applied we sent all the mentioned documents in with the applicantion and were told I would need to take the originals to my interview.
Also thanks for your reply magysd. My Husband, as the petitioner has already mailed off the Affidavit of Support as He was instructed, He is in the US and i am still waiting in Australia so I am reluctant to send originals as i need those to take to the interview

G'Day Everyone
I am so confused on what to do next, i keep reading posts here to see if I can figure out what to do next only to get more confused and frustrated!
Ok, here is where we are up to... i just completed my electronic DS- 260 and when i submitted it this message followed the comfirmation letter.
Next Steps
All applicants must:
- Obtain and submit required supporting civil documents.
- Obtain and submit photographs that meet the Department of State’s visa requirements.
- Review the information specific to U.S. Embassy/Consulate General where your visa interview will occur.
If you have not already collected and submitted the required documents to the National Visa Center then you should do so at this time. If the documentation you have submitted is either insufficient or incomplete you will be notified by the NVC. Your visa interview cannot be scheduled until your supporting documentation is complete and correct.
Does this mean i have to mail the said documents over to the NVC in the US From Australia or do I submit them to the consulat here ? I was told I had to take the said documents eg. birth certificate, marriage certificate, two passport size photos ect to the interview but reading this post i am not sure now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Like all that have posted here on this topic, I too am so frustated with The USCIS. We do the right thing and then are made feel like we are being punished. My Husband and I have been married 12 months on the 23rd of March 2013 and what has kept me going and sane is spending our first wedding aniverary together but seeing we haven't even been approved yet there is no chance of that happening now. I feel more and more depressed every day. We talk every day on Skype or phone but its not the same at all. I have even got to the point where I have said to Him " I have had enough I am not going, You can come here " He is wonderful, calming me down and assuring me that it has to happen soon. I understand that the government is focused on making the illegal immigrants legal, but at what cost to us, that have went through the right channels and paid our way unlike the illeagals? I just want to be with my Husband so we can move on with the rest of our lives and not live in this limbo world that is frustrating, depressing and wrong!

Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to USCIS Service Centers forum; topic is about USCIS operations (specifically, use of the webiste to track a petition) and not about the spousal visa process itself.
How do you figure that this has nothing to do with a CR1 spousal visa when that is what my husband was trying to find out how to track the progress our petition for a CR1 visa?? Its difficult enough without someone moving our posts to somewhere that we won't get any help or answers to his question

Sounds weird to me, i am Australian and no matter how many times i change my name like being married twice my birth certificate will always be in my maiden name cos thats the name i was registered at birth. And just some advice... no use getting anry , it does not solve anything, my husband is American and He had a problem with His birth certificate at first too. So take a deep breath, leave your anger behind and work out where to go from here and then do it... sounds like he needs to check on his end what he can do now to work out what to do about his birth certificate... read the advice that others have given you here and plan on what your next step is... good luck and hope you work it out
I was approved!
