I am not sure if I need to bring an updated i-864 for my husband at the interview...
He (U.S citizen) was in Japan when we sent the documents to NVC and were approved.
We have a co-sponsor due to my husband's foreign income.
Then he moved to America and got a job. Should we prepare the updated i-864? My interview is coming soon.
Thank you for your help!!

Hello,
I am trying to complete the I-864 form for my husband who is a petitioner.
I have a few questions to ask and am hoping someone could answer for me...
1) My husband is currently in Japan so we have a joint sponsor who needs to file the form I-864.
This sponsor uses assets to suppliment income. He is married and has a saving account & a
proof of house value in both his name and his wife's name. Should his wife need to file the form I-864A?
2) If so, the part 7 on the form I-864, the # 5b has to be 0$? Putting their total assets there is not right because
there is the # 10 that should be the total amount of assets.
In addition the # 12d on the form I-864A is filled out as the same number as the # 10 on the form I-846. Is this correct?
I am so confused and has anyone had the same experience as mine?
Thank you for you help...

Approved!!
Our case was transferred to Texas on 12/27. PD is 6/27.
Sooo happy soooo excited!! Texas is doing great!

Thank you for the info! I don't think it was a scammer because he did not ask for much information...
I guess I was mistaken.
My PD is June 27 but the notice date is July 1st. I am hoping this process will be over soon for everyone!

This morning, my husband got a phone call from Texas (area code 713), but he could not answer it.
Same day, they called his house in America and asked if he was there but did not mention who they were.
It could be someone eles, but I was wondring if it was from TSC since our case was transferred there.
Did anyone have the same experience?

Hi,
I am the beneficiary and my husband is the U.S citizen.
We filed from abroad in late June and PD is July 1st.
We received 3 e-mails (12/27, 12/30 and 12/31) saying that our case was transferred but still waiting for
the hardcopy. Don't know yet where our case is right now.
This website has been a great help!

Thank you! That made me feel relieved! I still hope to get the hard copy tho...

Hi,
My husband and I live in Japan and sent the I-130 petition from here on June 24.
We received a notice of receipt from the USCIS on July 2 and the case was routed to the National Benefit Center.
On the same day, the money order was cashed.
They returned a photo album to us on July 8 since it didn't fit in their file folder.
We are beginning to worry if the package(NOA1) got lost on its way.
Please let us know if anyone has experienced the same delay or if you have any advice on what we should do.
Thanks in advance.
