Are EAD/AP combo cards processed by the local office in NYC or by the National Benefits Center? I'm asking because it seems to be taking longer than usual for us to receive the combo card approval (80 days), and I wonder if it's because NYC is backlogged. I'm aware we aren't yet outside of the processing window, but other early October filers from different states have begun to receive their EAD/AP approvals over the past two weeks.

EAD/AP are processed by the National benefits Center. I think that since you are 80 days in you should do a case inquiry to see why it's taking so long to be approved. I am a early Sept filer I got a Rfe and my Rfe was received on November 2. My EAD was approved one month after my Rfe was received on Dec 1. I did however sent a case inquiry once my EAD was over 75 days.

My EAD was approved today. I am so excited yayyy. I did send them a online inquiry on the status of my EAD on Nov 24 so I am not sure it my inquiry helped in getting them to approved it but I am just happy that it is approved.

Congrats to everyone that got their EAD approved. I guess I must be the only early September filer that hasn't had my EAD approved yet all because of the stupid RFE I got. Hopefully I will be approved by next month sigh.

She only counts her mom once. The I-864 instructions states not to count someone more than once.

Her household size is 3.

I am a September AOS filer and I received a RFE for a joint sponsor. MY bestie has agreed to sponsor me and we are sending the documents off today. Quick question. My bestie was a joint sponsor for her mom last year(her sister filed for her mom and she served as a joint sponsor) so on the section of the affidavit I counted her mom once and myself. making her houehold size 3.Now I am finding out that she claimed her mom on her tax return last year as a dependant. Am I going to have to count her mom twice on the I-864. Making my bestie's household size 4. Is her mom going to have to fill out a I-864A or that is not necessarily for a dependant on a tax return.

I am a bit confused and need a bit of guideline thankyou

Hey thanks hun. I received the letter today. We need a joint sponsor, my hubby makes over the guideline for a household size of two by a little over $1000 but I guess it alittle too close to comfort for them. I already secured my joint sponser so hopefully I can submit all the info needed by next week the latest.

Just checked my case status and received a Rfe dated Sept 30. Bummer I sent them every damn thing they need wonder what this for smdh. Guess I will know by Friday the latest

I have no advice on what you asked, Just wanted to add a comment about the passport pics because $23 is waayy too much.

When I was sending off my last petition I realized I had lost the pics hubby mailed me from Jamaica so I needed new ones asap. I had him take a picture of himself and email it to me. Uploaded it to the site below and then saved it to my computer as a 4x6. I then sent it to walmart.com and picked them up in an hr. The person at Walmart had even cut them out and put them into that little sleeve they normally put passport pics in. The entire thing costed 61 cents.

Yes, in my case they used the picture from the bio appointment. And, I only sent 1 picture for both the I-765 and I-131. I think they keep that one for their records. My Employment Authorization Document and Advance Parole came as a combo card. It says in small printing at the bottom of the card - "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole." But, still it was wise of you to be better safe than sorry.

I changed my mind I think I just going to include only two more photos one each for the Employment Authorization and one for the travel document bcuz Walgreen wants me to pay $23 for 4 additional passport photos and I am not paying that much for no 4 photos it ridiculous. I am just going to include 4 Photos with my hold AOS Application.

Can someone please confirm how many passport photos do I have to include in my adjustment of status application. I only intended to include 2 photos behind my G-325A form but now I am reading that I have to include passport photos behind the I-765 employment authorization form and I-131 form as well. Can someone confirm how much passport photos are really needed thanks.

I am in need of some advise. I am currently preparing to submit my paperwork for Adjustment of Status in a few weeks however I currently cannot locate my I-94 online. I have tired every combination of my name I can can think of but nothing comes up. I have been calling the deferred inspection site a the Jfk for over a month a half but I haven't been able to get anyone to assist. I have currently already overstayed my B1/B2 visa. Does anyone know if it is safe to physically go the deferred inspection site at the Jfk to get a copy of my I-94 if I have already overstayed my visa? Can they decide then and there to send me back on a plane home since I have overstayed? Does anyone know if I could submit my Adjustment without the I-94?. Instead of the I-94 I am wondering if I could just send USCIS a copy of the stamp in my passport of the day I arrived.

My interview was June 2nd in Holtsville and I received the letter on June 19th for a July 7th oath ceremony date in Central Islip. I received a notice on June 15th that they mailed the letter but I'm not sure where they mailed the letter from, it doesn't take that long for a letter to arrive from Long Island to Queens so I was stalking the mailbox all week long. Maybe they put the letter in a stack to be mailed but not sure it's actually mailed the day they claim it is.

Talk about stress.

@Patra&Ricardo my father did his interview on June 2nd and received his oath letter June 18th scheduled for July 2nd. Tomorrow!! We went to hotsville as well!

Hey guys, was anyone in here interviewed in the Holtsville Long Island Office?. I would just like to know how long after you did your interview was your Oath Letter mailed. My hubby did his Interview on June 18 and they told him his Oath Letter would be mailed in a week but it hasn't been yet. I am trying to get a estimate of how long it will take.
