Hi everyone,

So, it turns out I can fly home next week! Of course I'm going through every little detail in my head, I'd like to avoid all drama during re-entry to the U.S. My passport is still under my maiden name so suddenly I realize I have no idea which name to use for booking my flight!!! Because of course my green card has my married name, so....,Am I dumb or what?! Has anyone been in this situation? Please bring some clarity to my confusion!

I'm flying home too next week. My dilemma is: do I book my flight under my married name as on my green card OR under my maiden name as on my passport??? Anyone?

I missed my appointment too (realized it the next morning, I thought my appointment was on Friday when it was on Thursday). I panicked, I thought I'd get into big trouble but I really didn't have time to mail the paper back in and request another appointment (and wait additional weeks) so I'd thought I've got nothing to lose, I just walked in (didn't say a word to any of the officials) and guess what, no one even cares to look at my actual date, they processed me without any problem. There are so many people waiting there all the time, they really don't care for these details in my opinion. I'm so glad I gave it a try!!!!
