I've got the interview letter for my mother .

If the interview is approved how long does it take to get the visa in hand these days? I'm planning on going to my country to bring my mother.

Hi Board, recently I noticed the AOS status has changed from Paid to N/A. I read here that it may mean that they have touched the file. Its been almost 60 days since I sent my documents to NVC.

Does this also mean that the case could be approved/complete or it just merely indicate the case has been touched?

7 months seem to be a long time.Usually NVC doesn't send any paper mail. call them or check your e-mail.

I just submitted DS 260 online. It says it will take 30 business days to reveiw.

I heard before it was taking 60 business days.

Does it mean the process is working little faster?

I'm filling up the DS 260 for my mother to immigrate to USA. My father does not want to immigrate to USA at this time because of the business he is taking care of now back in our home country.But he wants to immigrate to USA after 3 years from now. How I'm gonna answer this below question?

Looks like I need to answer "No" for Question 1.

But how about Question 2? What does it mean later date here? Does after 3 years also can be "at a later date"?

Q2: Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S at a later date to join you?

I was married before my current marriage. My State only gave me marriage license. Is that previous marriage license is also the marriage certificate?

i just paid my IV fee for my mother (IR 5) and in process of sending the IV documents. I'm going to send the following documents:

Bar Coded Cover Sheet

Original Beneficiary's Marriage Certificate

Original Beneficiary's Birth Certificate

Original Beneficiary's Police Certificate

Copy of Beneficiary's Passport

Two Passport Style Photographs of Beneficiary

Am I missing anything?

I was wondering I need to do the same for DS-230 package.
