Hi its sad to hear she just used you for the green card. But unfortunately for her the two year green card is supposed to filled by both of you, and you should have properties together, bank accounts together etc you should have things like that in both your names. They want to know if truly the marriage was real and not a scam. Unfortunately she took off too soon, she may be refused the green card renewal if you proof that she used you. But if you guys divorce before that she might have a difficult time getting a renewed green card. If by any chance you abused her by battery,emotionally and she has proof of that she might get her green card renewed and also if you die and she can provide a death certificate. My advice is to keep the text messages she sent you and anything else then your good. Good luck

Just go to the offices very early in the morning Pick a number and wait your turn. Say what you need then that's it. There is an online application too but since its new and you would not want screw it up just walk in. go with all your documents.

Go ahead and apply. I thought it would come with my green card but it did not, i waited for 3 months that's when my husband and i decided to go ahead and apply personally i got it the same day. Due to my experience i would advice to go apply today.

What you do is RESEND IT

Sorry for your loose. You will Not loose your green card. When it expires your gonna need his certificate of death to re apply. In cases of death, domestic battery one cannt not loose a green card.

They also do ask for letter from the employer, does your mom work???? that would have worked wonders.I think they also considered the fact the whole family was in the US including the husband and she wasn't more likely to go back to her country. Its insane but that's how they do it. sorry though- you would think for older people it would be more easier.....

Vaccination is pretty important, for a waiver i imagine that it would be for a far more important issue than just the thought of thinking its unsafe elements. Vaccination is not only for his safety but the safety of other people around him, and being an adult and health at that the waiver consideration can be tricky- anyway i wish you best of luck.

Thank you. I had no idea on the info pass, i just made an appointment the offices are in Chicago three hours away from us but will certainly try to get there. Hopefully we should be able to know whats going on. I already contacted the Senators office in regards to this case, they are also helping us out because they also think this is ridiculous . Hopefully we will hear from them soon. Thank you for the information deeply appreciated- this matter has cost me so many sleepless nights,stress and just so much pressure.

You want to be safe so its better you get some more extra time on your side like maybe four ,five hours coz people are many regardless of days trust me.

Hi!!! About the police check yes they need a report from the countries you have lived for more than 6 months so you need to travel to Germany to get the good conduct certificate from them,there are no short cuts to this, not being able to provide that may delay everything.And the fact that you already stated that you lived in Germany for 9 months is in their records so you cant back down on that.An for the medical examination don't be in a hurry to do that UNTIL you receive a letter of appointment for the interview they usually give you like a months notice so you have time to do the medical- the thing is the medical examination expires so you don't want to that too soon coz its a lot of money to do medical examination. I went through the exact thing so just follow procedure, Good luck

My husband applied for i-130 for my son{his step son} in August 2012 and the USCIS accepted it in August 28th 2012. We knew that it takes about 5 months for the processing time because mine did take exactly 5 months And we knew in February 2013 that his case was going to be approved too, but alas we heard nothing from the USCIS. Our efforts to inquire about our sons case went in vain even after numerous calls to their offices to inquire about what was going on what they could tell us is that his case was still in INITIAL REVIEW what we already know this because we always check his case status. Our son is only five years old, his going to be six in July 12th what is there to have reviewed for ten months in a case of a five year old child , in August next month his case is going to have been stuck in the USCIS offices in Chicago for one year now. we are desperate and frustrated over this, we did even send letters of expedition but we haven't received any news from them, we are afraid that my sons case has disappeared in the Chicago USCIS offices. someone please advice on our issue and what action to take next plsssssss help ?????????
