  1. Thanks everyone for reply, and yes, I had another post about my SIL trying for Visit visa which was refused and she wants to try again. But this case is different, I tried to convince them to marry as late as possible, but the girl was too excited for GC.

In my own opinion, I don't think she will stay with this guy for long, but my friend doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand.

  2. One of my friend who is citizen, just got married to person who came to US on tourist visa. They married after five days of her arriving. She never told at the airport for her intention of getting marry. There are plenty of posts about this topic but half of them says its illegal to stay after marriage, she should go back to her country and wait for her visa and other half says, she can stay here and get AOS completed.

Anyne have knowldge of what to do?

    Thanks,

    Zama

  3. Well, They refused her visa, they didn't even look at the doctor's letter or asked any question. But she (SIL) wants to apply again in few days, I recmended not to do it, that they will refuse it again and it waste of money and efforts, of course, they think I don't want her to visit!!

Are there any better chances on second time around?

She (SIL) said that emabssy refused everyone who were present that day.

  4. Thank you Penguin_ie and Sunnyland for quick reply and advice.

My SIL applied for visa, she has May 21st interview date. She asked me to send my Taxes for past year ( I haven't completed my taxes for 2014 yet) and also a letter from both from me and my wife to show that we are willing to support her while in USA. I'm was under the impression like Sunnyland said, that vist visa, which is temporary, will not require any kind a affadavit of support? I'm not comfortable sending my tax farms due to the fact my SS# is on it and its private.

  5. Hello,

    Need some advise on this.

My wife who came on K1 visa, still waiting for her GC, is expecting. She wants her sister (she is 23yrs old) to visit here in US to help her, is there anything special that we need for her to come over?

DO I have to give any documents that we will support her while she is in USA?

Any spcial requirements for this type of visa?

    Thank you in advance!!

  6. Hello,

Need some advice how to proceed: My wife came here on K1 visa.

We filled AOS back in June, 2014. We didn't have her vacination records at that time and USICS haven't asked for that yet. The question I have, would USICS will ask for this at a later date? If they ask, what kind a time frame they give you to file?

I checked here in DC area, Doctors charge about $400.00 for a complete vac. record.

    Thank you in advance ..

  7. You can never win from a liar, but as they say " what goes around comes around". I would suggest the following quote from ^ the maven^

The best quote "I also chose not to exact any revenge. I knew that even if it would have felt great for a moment, I'd have to live with my actions for the rest of my life. I chose the high road and have zero regrets"

  8. Hello,

My friend married a girl in Pakistan and they filed a K3 visa. It took a long time to get the visa, almost 20 months. He supported her in Pakistan, helped out her mother to get her surgery. He was so excited for her to arrive in New York on the 14th of Dec. 2013.

She arrived and I never called him to check, didn't want to mess up his "honeymoon", I finally called today and found out that she already ran away with someone else. He said that he was got suspicious on first week when she will call and talk to someone endlessly. he asked her and she said she is talking to her mother, but later he saw phone number was from New York not Pakistan. Finally, second week, on 29th of Dec., he took her phone away, she got upset and shouted. Next morning she left the home and never returned, he later found out that she actually had contact with a couple of guys on her Facebook and checked the phone records, she was in contact with other guys from the day one when she got herself a phone.

My question and I need advice on what he can do if anything? He already made a missing person report. He also has her passport. He can call Pakistan counselor to report missing person, so they don't make another passport for her. I asked him to write a letter to immigration.

What else he can do, not to get her back but to makesure she is deported at the minimum.

  9. When I was asked about being older than my fiance, I said the truth. That at first, I was worried that I was older and he might not be ready for a serious relationship and I was looking to settle down. But that my fiance is wiser & mature beyond his years and we never noticed the age difference at all through out our 3 year relationship. We simply brought out the best in each other and have learned to adjust to each other's shortcomings and love not only the good in each other, but also the bad.

Thank you for your reply, I don't why my question seems like that I want to lie about it, its just they I was phrasing it, it seemed not correct to me. The answer in different paraphrasing doesn't mean that I want to lie about it. I hope you all undstand me..

  10. Hello All,

I and my fiancée have age difference and I’m worried about her answering this question. I understand we can tell yeah, “once we met, we liked each other and we had plenty of time to talk to each other on phone, Skye, Viber and find out that we are the best for each other. We are in love and wanted to live together for rest of our lives.” It really doesn’t sound good to me, how do you paraphrase this in way that it is not questionable? Did you answer this or you know someone did, please help if you can.

    May thanks..

  11. Hello Naina and Sam,

Thank you for your reply. If you call and try to ask status, they tell you send us an email, then they don't reply email either. I'm going to email them daily until i get an answer.

So frustrating.. I don't know what good it will do to call DoS, they will tell you to call embassy anyway. The case is in ISB's hands.

    Thanks,

    Zahid

I am going through the same BS. US embassy in Islamabad is the worst of embassies I know so far.

It looks like a Bangali embassy in pakistan rather than the US.

I have sent my package 3.5 on October 8th, hoping that I will hear from them in a week or two. But after emailing them several times, they insisted on only receiving the documents on October 20th. It's not that we were sending it through usual mail, they were sent through their courier, Speedex/American Express. I don't how can all of that be possible. Can't make sense of it to tell you the truth.

Why don't you try calling the department of state to inquire about your package? They might be able to give you some information.

  12. Hello,

I'm need a some advice. We received our NOA2 and then embassy sent us the 3.5 package via email. We responded on September 8. After three weeks I emailed them that we haven't heard from them since we mailed the 3.5 package. Their respond came next day that they haven't received our package yet and if you sent it, please send us airway bill number. I traced it from courier to embassy, they received and signed it on the the 9th. I Sent them three emails with airway bill number/receiving number but they are not responding anymore.

What should I do, my petition will expire in January 2014.
