  1. Hi Bishar

as the above poster mentioned your visa is not denied but want more evidence about your relationship.

Just present all documents they are asking for and her visa will be sorted.

Gabdhaha visahoodu sidaas uma dhib badna

So today My fiance went there and she brought 100 pictures and also money receipts. The officer said acually I don't even need the money receipts even though he told her to bring it. He took the pictures and he said you done, give me your passport I will put the visa on it. She handed her passport and he said actually your Passport doesn't work. Instead I will give you a travel document so you can use that one instead. He told her to come back tomorrow because it's already 5:30 pm. I'm now excited and I want to say thank you everyone in this forum. thank you thank you thank you.

  2. Basically what you are in is AP (administrative processing). They have given you what they need so they can render a decision so i would get it to them as fast as possible.

Interesting those two things. I would gather you didn't submit alot of pics. So do that ASAP.

  3. The visa is not denied.

The US consulate needs more evidence of your bona fide relationship with your fiance

Provide them whatever is written in the white paper.

*More photos --> Remember to put down the date/time and name of places at the back of the photos.

    *Money transfer receipts

Thank you so much, but I have over 100 pictures, I have to right down each one back side. I will do it and thanks for that.

  4. I call national Visa Center, and State visa, and. I talked to 3 different people from NVC and two of them said: This is just nothing as long she has her passport and BC, and the 3rd person said I don't give you any information, just that's not my job. and I also talked someone from State visa Dep, and he said just contact your consular in that country. We don't do this stuff..... what do you guys think?

Hello brothers and sisters. So my fiance had interview, they really gave her hard time and her interview was really long. The officer finally gave her a white pepper which says this office regrets to inform you that it is unable to issu a visa because you have been found ineligible to receive a visa under section 221 (g) of the immigration prohibits the issuance of visa to any one whose application doesn't comply with the provisions of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto.

please bring in the following documents/ take the fallowing actions:

    *More photos

    *Money transfer receipts

and come back Thursday, wensday and Monday.

So please what do you think? did my fiance visa has fully denia or still okay but they need more photos since we gave them only few?

please give me some advice. thanks

  7. Thank so much.I hope that the officer would be reasonable. Thank you all for your kindness

Should my fiance hand this letter to the interviewer? What do you think please.

    This is the message:

Dear Officer, I've noticed that my fiance made an apparent typo on my original i-129f application. He put my birth date in international format, (Day/Month/Year) instead of US format (Month/Day/Year). I immediately call National Visa Center and they said that's a minor error and your officer at the interview should be able to correct it.

    05/01/1988 My birthday (American format)

01/05/1988 My birthday (My country format)

    Thank you.

  8. It is not that easy as it seems but you never know the mood of the Visa Officer. I would suggest you to write to the Embassy because it is out of NVC and USCIS hands. Please address the issue by mentioning the Case #, Interview Date, Beneficiary Name and DOB along with your information. At least your fiancé will

have ground to explain with your justification of error. I remember fixing name Parm to Param was a great deal and got delayed for months. You should do whatever you can do and it won't hurt rather than not doing anything. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

The problem is that Addis Ababa embassy don't check their Email. I'm pretty sure they will not do anything if i send them Email. I did it couple times. So I'll probably call the nvc and uscis to get idea about the situation. If the interviewer is reasonable then he can understand the format differences between US and the World.

  9. Hello brother and sister. My Interview is next week, and while I was checking my fiances forms, I've noticed that I put the international date format dd/mm/yyyy, instead of US format. So let me make it more clear.

    My fiance was born in:

    01/05/1988 (internationaly)

05/01/1988 (US/Canada and few other countries.)

So now my orginal I-129f and the G-325 have wrong date format (01/05/1988 (internationaly) While all other forms have the correct one 05/01/1988.

So do you think they could refuse or delay my visa because of the wrong format? My interview is next week so I don't know what to do...... Give me some advice my brother and sister. thanks

  10. Hello ladies and gentleman, my fiance is about to get her interview next week hopefully, and now everything look alright but I have some questions in here.

As you can see my attached checklist says: (Two DS 156 Forms electronically filled on line for both K1 AND k3 Cases)

So now what I should do? my fiance doesn't have internet access in Ethiopia and she can't do that, do I have to do that for her? or we can fill it on pepper instead of electronically, need some help please. And also my intent to marry pepper is about 2 months and half away from the interview time, My interview is on the 20th, and we did intent to marry pepper on 06/30/2013, is that a big gap or it's just okay. thanks for your suggestions

  11. Case was sent to embassy. ..should I wait to send papers there or will her consulate contact me on what to send my fiancee? Plus ....the tracking from nvc not only said in transit, it says that nvc has scheduled and interview date?..how do I find out..cause I read you cant call the embassy

just call the Department of State at 202-663-1225 and ask them what's the state of your case. They will tell you your interview date, so if your fiance didn't get the forms from the embassy then she should go there and get the peppers and forms... that's what my fiance did. thanks bro and good lucky.

  12. Hello brothers and sisters. let me tell you my story. Me and my friend started our process at the same time. Both our fiances are in Ethiopia. We started processes at the same time and we got REF and again we return and they approved our cases at the same time. and they sent to the nvc and then to the embassy. it was may 20th this year. and my friend get interview on july 9th. He get the appointment letter through US Post office, it was from Etihiopia to here. So his fiance in Addis didn't get anything, instead they sent to him.

Now, my side I didn't get anything yet, I think my Fiance's P.O. Box is wrong, and I might already had interview date but I never received the letter. I sent too many Email but Ethiopia embassy are very slow they don't anwser emails. So what I should do? Should they send the interview letter to my fiances Email as well? What is your suggestions thank you.

So in case if I missed my interview date, what is the solution, are they gonna cancel my case?? please help. thank you

  13. Okay brother and sister around the world. My Case is now in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. And even though they already got my case about a month and half ago, but still didn't get the interview letter or even packet 3. I always check my visa Status and it says below, but they always change the Statues updated date, it was June 8, and then July 3, and know july 16th, and still my status says ready only date changes.
I've send couple email to the embassy and they've never email me back. So what do you guys think? Did they already send me the letter, or they're going to, or should my fiane in addis ababa go to the embassy directly, or what I should do? Thanks for your Advice.
    Ready

Immigrant Visa Case Number: ABB421134288 04 ABB (this is not my correct case number.... Case Creation Date: 20-May-2013 Status Updated Date: 16-Jul-2013

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment
  14. Yes, the American's petitioner's jab is finished, now it is down to the foreign visa recipient in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian must gather the relevant documents with help from the American petitioner i.e. for proof of financial support etc. Your packet 3 does not come with an appointment. Packet 3 will give you instruction on how to acquire the relevant documents and only when you have collected these and sent the relevant forms in Packet 3 back to the embassy will they send you Packet 4 with the appointment letter.

You should be able to get information for how to pay your visa fee and the cost, in the visa section on the relevant embassy website. This information will be contained in Packet 3 so don't do anything until you get Packet 3.

Loughrey, In Addis Ababa they don't have packet 4, you will just get the interview letter and packet 3, That's what I've heard, also I'm not sure if my fiance can go to the embassy and ask them if they can give to her case number so she should start the process..

  15. It means: Your NOA2 is processed and your Case is now awaiting... Congrats ! Now get your Case # from that Country and Pay Visa Fee. Next is Medical Exam. .. That a Start.. Pay the Visa Fee ASAP if your need futhur answers..

Thank you so much for the quick response. So how I will pay my Visa Fee? When I call NVC they said you don't have to do anything in America, your fiance in Addis Ababa should get notification from the embassy so wait. And also what's the case number, the one I got from NVC? Does my fiance needs to go to Addis Ababa Embassy without any appointment? Thanks again.
