Yes i did send the one form that allows them to email me and text me. I did not asked for my packets to be signed. Should i be worry and what should I do or should do as a follow up? Please help.

  2. Hi, so we've filled almost everything and the only thing that is missing is my part, foreign part, of the package. Im very careful about this process and since mailing with FedEx is very expensive I just want to double check if those are all things that I need to send to be included in I-129F package:
    - my G-325A

    - my passport-type picture

    - my letter of intent

Please, correct me if I've missed smth out

    THANKS!

  3. Hi, my question is if I should fill this form, sign by hand and then send via mail to USA to my fiance? Or can I just scan the filled one and send the copy?
The same thing with passport-type photo, should I send her original of my photo? Or can I just send her digital picture and she will print it?
And the same question with the letter of the intent, should I also mail the original one with my signature to her to be included in I-129f package? or scan of it will be ok?

    Thanks!

  4. My fiance has two B-2 visa's in her life. We tried to extend the last one since she technically qualified for extension. They asked her to come to an interview in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She was denied visa during the interview, and they told her to just wait for the K-1.

Did she get B-2's while I-129f was pending? What did she say/they said in the embassy?

  5. Oh my god, thanks guys! Your information is so useful, now Im sure we can do it by ourselves and with the help of this forum :)

Be sure to follow K1 guidelines exactly. Send right size of photos, Letter of intent to marry has to have sentence " I intend to marry _______ with in 90 days of arriving in the USA as per K1 requirements" By the way military can sometimes qualify to expedite the case and get approval with in 1 month. Read " forms" section and do not be afraid to ask questions. You can do it yourself but be sure to dot the "I's" and cross the "T's"

Can you please provide any keywords/more info for this qualification for case expedition? cause I couldnt find anything on the internet

    Would appreciate that :)

  6. I read lots of posts here and almost every is about entry for the US territory, but you can enter US only when you have a visa, what are the procedures of actually getting tourist visa while having K-1 pending? What are chances of getting it and how consulates behave when they hear the reason of the visit and the K-1 pending?
Would appreciate a share if anyone had experiences in post-USSR embassies for tourist visa

  7. Sorry to disappoint you, but probably not enough. There are a bunch of variables that are all against her:

    She has an I129-F pending.

    She is very young.

Does she have a job? If not, then that's another strike against her.

You can try, the worst thing that can happen is that they deny her the visa and you lose $160. It should not affect the K1 process either way.

You are saying that it shouldnt affect the process, are you sure? I mean as much as usual person can be sure in this :)

Cause we are going to send I-129f soon and wait is SO terrible that I plan to visit my fiancee in USA after getting NOA, I live in Ukraine, 21 years old, have a job, she is the same age, works for military.

  8. Without knowing the specifics of your situation or your abilities it would be difficult for anyone on VJ to make a recommendation about using an immigration attorney. In some cases legal assistance is necessary in others it may not be.

The best recommendation anyone can give is for you to read the K-1 visa guide carefully and then come back and ask questions of what you don't understand.

Makes sense, I will try to give as much info as I can:

I am resident on post-USSR country, my future wife is US citizen (21 years old), working for military. We are together for 3 years even though we have been living together for 3 month in USA (2010), then 4 month in USA (2011) and she visited me in 2012 for a month. And we decided to get married. The first two times I was on a student WORK&TRAVEL program, I haven't violated any dates of my visas and everything is find with that. I also have SSN number since I was working in USA.

    Is this specific enough?

    Thanks :)
