Great news CDNme! Our visa was issued yesterday and are hoping to pick up our passports for a weekend POE as well. As we hoped, we'll be the in time for Thanksgiving

When I went last week, she had me fill out a couple of forms which needed my MTL number and passport number so bring your passport and the appointment confirmation letter for these. She took my passport and made a copy, but said she didn't need the letter (I'd bring it just in case though). She also took a copy of my vaccination records - I had my yellow one that doctors have filled out over the years and that was acceptable. You will need a flu shot now that we're in season, so if you haven't got it yet do it before you go. I had the pharmacist receipt (looks like a prescription receipt with my name on it) for my flu shot and that was accepted too. The only other thing I needed was ONE 2x2 photo. Everywhere else says I need three so I brought extras just in case, but she only took one. They'll take blood, but you don't need to fast, and they'll do an x-ray. The doctor will ask a few questions, and if you're healthy - he took my word for it, didn't look through the medical history, even though I brought it - that will be it. If you have any kind of history of medical issues, he may require your medical history documents though. Hope this helps. You should be out of there within an hour.

Btw... My letter didn't have the barcode either, so the one you have should be fine.

I didn't find her rude, just overly busy...the phone rang non stop while I was there for my medical on Tuesday, but at least she answered her phone, unlike the receptionist for Dr Zatsman who not only never answered but did not return 4 voicemails. She does have an accent, but her English itself is fine.

I tried several times to make an appointment with Dr Zatsman...unfortunately, Michelle never answered the phone and every message left which "would be returned by the end of business day" according to her voicemail, was never returned. I finally got fed up and made the appointment with another doctor's office even though it would be further away from me. After your review, I really wish Michelle would have returned one of my 4 phone calls, because he seems nice and is losing patients as a result

Fingers crossed for some cancellations. Hope you all get across by Christmas at the latest...Thanksgiving miracles would be even better though

I'm still checking compulsively as well :/ getting a notification that someone replied to this thred had my hopes up that someone finally got an appointment. Fingers crossed appointments come in soon for all of us to breathe easier. As far as I know you do need the letter from packet 4 to bring with you to the consulate. I received packet 4 by email...maybe you should try to request it be sent to you that way so you can print it off? I never did receive packet 3 that had been sent to me snail mail, so I was happy to see packet 4 in my inbox.

You took the words right out of my mouth. We submitted our I-129 Dec 4th...so we'll be beyond a year if the December dates hold up :/ Trying to hold on to that positive attitude I had when this all started

You know... somewhere inside of me is a rational, logical and patient person. Aaaaannnd that person has been suffocated nearly to death because of this process. Dramatic, yes... but I'm being honest!

My hand is high up in the air on this one...sooooo tired of seeing "there are currently no appointments available for your trip purpose" been like that for the last two weeks now . I sure hope something opens up soon!
