  1. Hi everyone,

First of all, I own a 2 year green card. Since I immigrated to the United States (7 months ago), I traveled outside 2 times already (1 month each travel)

and now I'm planning to go to Brazil on this June to watch the World Cup in a 45 days travel.

So my question is: Do you think I might have problems when I apply to renew for my 10 years green card? They will question me the reason

of traveling a lot in a short period of time? or they could consider that normal?

thank you, and sorry for english mistakes.

  2. I got my interview letter on July 30.

After 1 day, I emailed my embassy to reschedule my interview for a earlier date (because my school starts next week)

Then they said that they can't do anything because my file not arrive there yet and they said to re-email them after 15 days.

Today I checked my Case status on the NVC website and shows 'READY'

Case Creation Date: 26-Jul-2012 Status Updated Date:

    08-Aug-2013

Is it means that my file has arrived at the embassy?

    Thank You.

  3. you can send it back to:

    1. the address on the letter that you received (there are actually instructions there, you are failing to read them) or

    2. make a printout of the coversheet/barcode and send it on to tte address there.

the 'hunting mechanism' that you describe tells me you or your petitioner have missed much.

it was my lawyer who received the letter from NVC, not me

i called to NVC today and they told me that they are missing only my federal police records.

  4. Have you already sent the IV (immigrant visa) package? The one with the DS-230, photocopy of passport, etc? If you are just sending the police record you need to use the bar coded cover page they gave you and send it to the address on there.

if you could please fill out your timeline that would greatly help us figure out where in the process you are and how best to help you.

i have already sent the DS-230, they are just asking for my police record.

    thank's very much.

  5. Hi everyone,

NVC sent to me a letter missing my federal police police records

and i would like to know how I do this

I found this address on NVC website

    National Visa Center
    Attn: DR
    31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100
    Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

it's necessary send anything with my police records like my passaport copy or anything? or just my police records is ok?

and how long after they take my police certificate my visa will be completed?

    thank's
