Hello guys. I wanna know what's going on with NVC. Anyone have similar situation??

My kids got approved before mine was February 28.

But my hubby got only AOS and IV for me, he paid it on April.

But still we haven't get for the kids.

USCIS said, they already sent it to NVC. Coz kids approved two weeks ahead of mine.

Then NVC said, doesn't received them yet... Also they need to have noa2 for proof.

My hubby asked to uscis to reassurance. But they said they can't...!!!

Now we sent copy of NOA 2 for NVC by email.

They took so long to process... It's been 3 months since we got noa2.

Any idea?

Just wanna let u guys know (who still waiting case num from NVC)

Our case shipped from USCIS to NVC on March 10.

Hubby told me, he got case number from NVC.

We were told by lawyer wait 5 to 8 weeks to get letter.

They just took 11days for give us case number.

Btw. Our case was in TSC!

About two weeks after sending TSC the RFE response, our I-130 was approved!

It was just 3 piece of my hubby's past port size photo.

He forgot to put it :-/ Stupid mistake caused waiting more than my kids approved.

Kids approved. jan/8

I got REF the same day.

Sent them back like a week later,

But at least when they got our photos, they let us know by the site. That was February 25.

Then approved 28.

Here in japan is already March first.

They took 3days to made a decision, since they revived our RFE.

I got RFE Jan, 8 sent them back with in a week. It was only my hubby's passport size photo.

What was RFE?

Make sure the pictures are the specific measurements that they require...oh and it's helpful if they don't lose half of your papers - nothing you can do about that though :/

Sent it to them 17th January but still the same status.

Don't know what's going on...

Anyway I'm still waiting my approval too! I just wanna finish all these stressful stuff.

I'm glad nothing big deal. Also found out before my hubby leave the states for visit me and kids.

We will be approval soon I guess!

We live in Canada while waiting for the green card. We are not in Japan.

I would have applied for the police certificate long ago however the Japanese government does not issue a certificate without an authorization letter from the US Government. We cannot apply for it without approval of the I-130.

Hence why I asked specifically for those with Japanese wives.

they said takes few months. If your wife were in japan, it will take only two weeks.

Yeah, I would file for it now. No guarantees that you won't have to get another one, but when you get your approval, hopefully your certificate will still be good at that point.

We didn't get a police certificate because there was a bunch of outdated information online where it states that the Consulate will get it for us. I contacted them directly to ask about it, and they responded immediately and pointed me in the right direction for my husband to request it. So we did, and now we're waiting to get it from the Dutch Government. That's okay, because we'll probably be waiting a while to get to that point with the NVC.

HAHAHA, your kids got approvals. Were their petitions based on your marriage to their parent? Seriously, as soon as you get that RFE, I'd write an email detailing the situation to the Ombudsman.

Yeah funny right?? I'm confused too.

But when I had check my status num and other two numbers( two kids), they showing review for my num only.

So... Don't know what exactly they want from us. It will be stupid stuff. Hope my hubby get hard copy next Monday.

We have lawyer but still they put us RFE. WHAT A POINTLESS.

Yeah I'm sure they r happy with that.

My hubby was told from lawyer that, we should hear something in a month or two months.

But I have a question, if this process going to pass a year? Is it become invalid?

My hubby says, if become invalid, come to the states with sightseeing visa and change status? Wait them in the states.

I don't really understand it. But something like that.

We had transferred to TSC on Nov, 27th. Ever since we haven't heard anything....

I was expected, we might heard good news within two weeks.

Now we have to be apart new year and our anniversary also.

So hang in there! And I feel you!!

I don't understand what happens to Texas?? No approvals recently.

Now NBC is faster than them.
