Thanks Casualsurfer! That is the case before I believe, when the Philippines was heavily hit by the super typhoon earlier this year. But not so sure right now how it goes for them, as my wife although originally from the Philippines, but her primary residence for the last 10 years has been in Saudi Arabia and her embassy for interview most likely in Jeddah. So I guess, I don't exactly fall into that expedited petitions category. But I do hope that the rest of the November filers should get their NOA2 hopefully within this month. Maybe it's case to case basis and also it depends on the service center you have.

Hi Angeldaemon! Yes it is. First sentence, it says "The above petition has been approved". If I got mine this week, for sure the other Nov filers too will get theirs. Let's cross our fingers.

I could jump for joy right now. I've received my I-797 notice today, actually it is dated Feb 8, 2014...Nov. 15, 2013 filer here. Is this the same as NOA2? what do you think is the next step that I should prepare after this? Hope everybody have received their I-797 also. Goodluck to all of us here.

I have the same exact situation as fbadshah..my petition request was transferred right away to Vermont Service Center. I am a November 2013 filer, hopefully I could hear from them right away soon.
