  1. Thank you for responding.

It seems I only need to file the I-130, I could file the I 129F to expedite the time process but there's no guarantee that it will actually be faster, and with the I 129F he would have to wait for the I-130 to be processed, while in the United States, and he would have to wait to get his visa and be able to work. So filling just the I-130 is good, bc will do the waiting in Chile till he gets his visa (green card) and can work as soon as he gets to the United States, :) he will be stepping in as a perms ant resident .

    That's what I found out!

  2. Hello!

    I am stuck......confused.

I filled the I-130 for my husband. we received the notice of action that form was received and is in process.

however, what should be my next step? all this time, i was under the impression that i were to file for the I-129F, however, as I keep reading,

it seems this form is used, only when couples have married OUTSIDE the US.

in my case, we got married in the United States, then a week after our marriage, moved & have lived here in Chile ever since.

so, should i still file for the I-129F? or should i just wait for the I-130 to be process alone? and wait for the NVC response?

i know it may seem easy for some of you out there, but believe me this gets confusing day by day.

    any suggestions?

  3. i filled abroad, the i-130, waiting for response, once accepted, will send the i-129f, which is the same as the K-1 visa,

but since i live in Chile, i don't want to leave before him, has anyone filled like this before? where both enter the states together, with out having to leave before their spouse?

can the supporting sponser be sufficient for fianancial support?

of course once arriving in the states I would find a job, and so would my husband.

but we hate the fact that I could have to leave before him. is there a form aside the i-129f, and the affidavit of support , to fill out?

please help, if any one out there has been through this. thanks

  4. Hello,

I am currently living in Chile with my husband. Been here since we got married, going on our fourth year. We finally

decided to move to the states. On Sept. 9,2013, we sent the i-130, along with the g-325a, with the G 1145. does any one know

how long it take to get a response?

Also, i filed from overseas. And would like to enter the states with my husband, and not have to leave before him. is that possible?

and if so, what form do i need to fill out?

I would appreciate any advice on the matter. thank you much
