i suggest you dont complicate things,and just enter the US with your k1 visa when you are ready

they will let you know that they recieved the RFE and then tell you to contact them if after 60 days you dont hear anything from them,they say that but most people get feedback before the 60 days,so if you submit everything right that they requested you gonna get approval as soon as they can,maybe in a Week,
atleast per what i know!
hope some people say more on it!
