you have to send them emails.. i had my interview on October 7 2013 then got AP on October 27 .. i called them many times they told me to send emails to IV and i did.. after 2 days AP changed to Issued

Yes they called me yesterday and gave me interview date on October 7th after 4 month from packet 3 sent .. even iam not on October schedule

They will close on June 30 ,July 1 , 2 , 3 ,4 , 5 ,6 and may open in July 7 if things going to be calm in Egypt.

When was last time you met him in 2011??? couse it`s required for K1 visa that you must met each other, in person, at least once within 2 years of filing your petition, and he sould start K2 visa for your child and should inculde his name on your K1 visa petition .. and he must send evidence of the relationship likes : pics of you and him when you were together , airplane tickets , chat logs , emails , letters , phone call log .. and something is required too that he will send copy of his passport showing entry stamp and leaving stamp of your country. Just don`t send her the I-134 for support and without it she can`t get apporoved on the interview.

the barcode have nothing with the case number , it`s just a barcode you get from the website when you fill the form

the interview fees is $240 and Medical :

X-Ray $20.00 or equivalent in colones
Blood test $11.00 or equivalent in colones
Physical exam $50.00 or equivalent in colones

Congratulations , now you have to wait 3 weeks, the case will forward to NVC, you will get letter from the NVC with this & a new Case number (you will need the new case number for Medical Exam) 3 weeks later the NVC will send your file to US Embassy and 2 weeks later you will get a Package from the US Embassy asking for some documents to do ...

1- Form DS- 156 ( 2 Copies of it)

2- Form DS-156k (1 copy)

3- Form DS-30 (1 copy)

4- Copy of Passport All Pages

5- Copy of Birth certificate

6- Police report (Original)

7-Copy of the military service (if Applicable)

8- Form I-134 (original) this you will fill and sign with your full name with a proof of your income in the US such as (most resent Federal tax return or pay stubs)

9- Two Passport Photos .

10- Unopend Medical Exam report.

so now you can start doing all this stuff and you can do the medical Exam & police report when you get the letter from NVC with your new case number so once you got the Package from the embassy you can send it back on the same day ..... Good luck

i got approved on March 27 and my got letter from the NVC on April 20 so you have to wait 3-4 weeks till the NVC got the case , once the NVC got the case you will get a new case number and you can do the medical exam with it , and after 2-3 weeks the NVC will send your case to the embassy so you don`t have to wait those 2-3 weeks to do the medical exam.

my advice is to send back the RFE ASAP.

No , you can`t attend the interview with him / her and since you are US Citizen they will let you enter the Embassy and just be on wating room, if you are not US Citizen they will not let you enter the Embassy.

Fees pay on interview date plus DHL wan`t accept to send money

i forget to tell you :

Police report take 1 day to be done and Medical Exam take 3-4 days to be done

so he can do them once you got the letter with the new case number ( no need to wait 2 weeks till he will get the package from the Embassy )

when you got the NOA2 just wait 3 weeks the case will forward to NVC in US and 3 weeks later the NVC will send your file to US Embassy in Cairo and you will get letter with this with a new Case number (you will need the new case number for Medical Exam)... 2 weeks later ur fiance will get a Package from the US Embassy in Cairo asking him for some documents to do ...

so now you can start doing all this stuff and just wait till you get the new Case number so he can do the Medical Exam and the police report
