I am planning to get a US driver's lisence here, but the DMV staff told me if I take the learner's permit test now, it will expire the same time as my I-94 which is in 21 Oct. I don't know when I am going to get my green card, which means, I can't get a driver's lisence until next year or later! What should I do?

I know it's kind of strange, we have never received our NOA2 when we applied for K-1. Now, I need it for AOS application. Talked to immigrant officer, she thinks I don't have to submit my NOA2 as soon as I have my I-94. Did anyone submit the AOS without NOA2?

my husband is thinking to go to another company, but the I-864 we filled used his current employment.

Will this has any affect when we go to our interview?

I'm in a situation similar to this -- my fiance *swears* they took his NOA2 off him at the embassy (London), even though I've never heard of such a thing happening. We have submitted a photocopy of the NOA2 -- is there any posibility that, if it's required for the interveiw, a photocopy would be acceptable?

do I have to submit NOA2

It's on Page 4 of form I-485 - Evidence of Eligibility, You need a copy of Petition Approval, Marriage Cert and I-94.

I believe Since you would need to file form I-824 for a Duplicate (and $200), I don't know if a photo copy would be allowed.

Saying that, we lost our NOA2, and emailed the CSC for a duplicate, and they sent one for free. Ironically we found the original NOA2 a week later.

Just called Visa service centre, they said to issue me a duplicate of NOA2 will take up to 6 month!

NOA1 is receipt of payment and it has your case number on it as well.

NOA2 is your approval notice.

what does NOA2 look like

but we are not sure whether this is NOA1 or NOA2. Could you explain the difference?

Don't forget to include a copy of your NOA2 from your I-129F!

You also need a copy of the passport, including the visa page.

The interview letter is the best list anyone can provide. I would say most of it is documentation you already have, since you submitted the AOS application. Update anything that needs updated (affidavit, employer's letter, taxes, etc.). Documentation that prove joint assets or liabilities (bank accounts, credit cards, insurance - life and health - leases, mortgages, etc.)

Its not really complicated, just go by the interview letter.
