Well, sergeant is also at that training. I thought I could get smth from ppl on post, but my hubby said there's nothing. We were absolutely sure that new letter will arrive BEFORE this interview date, I feel like total idiot about this coz I didn't realy do anything and lost time. Another problem - I totaly lost all confidence, I didn't know if I shoud go or not, I still don't know...

I wanted to talk to someone, so I posted here. I'm not sure if I should go just to tell them that I am having it rescheduled, and not abandoning... idk.

The thing is - my hubby can't make it to our interview for serious reason. I did request to reschedule and I have a letter from our local office, it says thay have approved my request. But I have not received new appoitment notice yet. My interview is in two days.

I really don't know what should I do. On one hand, I am sure they are aware of my request coz I have the letter and confirmation number.

On the other hand, when I check my portfolio on the website it says my application was touched last time on May 13. Meaning nobody even looked into it. It still says standard "we sent you notice for the interview on June 13..blah blah".

So how do I know the IO will not just deny my case coz nobody apeared. Yes, I will be able to prove later that I took action, but who wants to get into that situation, right?

To get to my local office I will have to take 2 buses (one 1,15hrs and another 3hrs travel time) I will also have to stay at the hotel or smth, coz of bus schedule.

Another problem, I don't really have any documentation on why my hubby could't make it this time. He is in the army and left for training, but he doesnt have orders, his sergent could write some explanation, but we forgot to do this (I know it's dumb). But we can provide that later, if needed.

So what do you think, any advice? Should I just go and talk to IO or just skip this date and waint?

I plan to call tomorrow, but smth tells me there won't be much help from them...

You have to call them asap, and request to reschedule. I got letter saying they approved my request and nothing so far. My initial date is june 13, I will be calling them Monday to ask what should I do if I don't get new date before this one. really nerve-wracking(

I believe you should talk to Dr first. Ordering tests yourself might be costly and not nessaccary.

Don't worry to much, I think you might be able to do your medical again. I had my vaccination record, but on my i-693 I have only 4 notes transfered from that record, measles-mumps and rubella and Tdap. Everything else was "not age appropriate" and no rfe about it. I paid 150$ last year.

So the worst case scenario - you will have to get that two vaccines again. i said two coz apparently it is only two shots, both vaccines 3-in-1.

If that's what DR wants, check your County Health Clinic/department, you might be able to get it for cheap.

You can't imagine how happy I am you started this topic and, most important, shared the whole experience!

I am in exact same situation right now. Our original date is June 13, but my hubby is in the military and left for training to Luisiana, while Im in NYS, where we live. He will be back after June 20. Only one week later! So dissapointing(.

I called as soon as I found out, on May 15, but got approval letter only May 28 (dated May 22) And nothing after that, I am very nervious becouse I will have original date (13) next week.

The thing is I didn't know you can specify the date range, so representative I talked to put this as "after June 20 and asap after due to deployment"

Well, when I write it, it doesnt seem like very bad situation, I am just scared that they will have another training and I will have to reschedule again.

I am dying to find out new date. I was even thinking to go alone just not to lose this appoitment, but this is not very good idea, I guess.

May I ask if your husband's civilian? Also - I have acc on their website where you can see if your case was touched, so I wonder if you had one as well, and could you see anything there before you got your new interview notice?? Mine says case was touched on May 13 (when they send me initial interview notice, apparently)
