can someone please tell me how to file for naturalization for my mother. She has been residing in the U. S since 2011 with her green card and now we want to file for citizenship. I need guidance on how to fill the form out and what documents do I need to attached.

Hello VJ family I received my case number today from NVC. I was told that they mailed our file to the American Embassy in Vienna, Austria.

Well just be yourself and you have to show the Counselor that you will return after completion of your studies. I have a friend that was approved for F-1 visa in Ghana last Monday. She told me that the counselor asked her the following:

-Are you staying on campus or off campus

-What's your major/ and why

-Your relationship with your sponsor

- Which state will you be living

-have you ever travel outside the country

Please note that since it is different country, they might asked your a different question.

Best advise is calm down, show them confidence in your answers, and convince them that you will return.

Dress professionally.

We are in the same boat guys. USCIS received my RFE on 05/29 and I am still waiting for my NOA2. I called my congressman's office yesterday and they stated this:

I just got off the phone with Vermont Service Center and your case is awaiting an officer. Once the officer gets the case they have 30 days to make a decision. I will check back in one week to make sure the case made it to an officer.

Hello everyone, did anyone of you all from VSC got approve after RFE Review? I was looking at you all timeline and saw that you all are still waiting for NOA2?

Reason I am asking is because I am still waiting for my NOA2 after REF with VSC.

I have been waiting for 9 days since they received it and still no answer.

Congrats.... After how l long from RFE review did you got approved?

My RFE was a letter intent to marry from both my fiancé and I. So I will not worry because it might a simply and easy to fix. It took 3 days for me to get the letter in the mail from the date they put on their website. I am still waiting for my NOA2.....

Hello Vj family. I am mew to this site ?. I was wondering how long it takes the Vermont service center to approve your case(k1) after you summited a request for evidence? I know on their web site it stated 60 days, does it take take that long? Please help me...
