    Hi Tom welcome to VJ and to the K1 process. I am the USC and I live in Philly and my fiance is from Scotland. Just thought I'd say hi and wish you better luck than we have had (I'm sure you will). It's been a rough year for us and we are still awaiting a decision.

      Its colder than NJ and its windy being right near the lakes. Yeah i'm glad he finally got the papers in too. His medical was yesterday and he said there was a horrible Welsh woman in the waiting room with him he hoped wasn't my VJ friend haha! I assured him it wasn't ;) I just asked and he said he didnt put a date in the cover letter, just said he was ready... I hope he did it right. (we don't have a date set for the first wedding)

      Hahah! Thats hilarious! Well im not actually welsh I just live here lol, it doesnt matter if he didnt put a wedding date on but generally VJ recommends u put one on to speed up your interview. They dont hold you to it or anything so i just put a month earlier than my actual wedding date is. But you definitely dont have to so dont worry x

      Okay good. Its hard for me as the petitioner who has done all the work for it so far to give up control and just wait as he takes over all the papers and stuff.
