He had his appointment on friday, but it wasn't a medical, it was a psych evaluation/ second interview. They asked him lots of questions about our relationship and about his previous student visa denials. I think they want to make sure our relationship is real and he isn't just trying to come to the US. Hopefully we will hear something this week because I don't want to be in AP any longer!!

He has an appointment next friday for another medical, but we still don't know why this is happening. I can't find any info about this ever happening before either.

I don't know what it means. My congressman's office was going to inquire this week about it. He wasn't told anything about it in his interview so we have no idea. Yeah CEAC was "touched" today, but still says AP. This is so sad and scary

Thank you. We are in AP with no info from the embassy. My congressman's office made an inquiry on our behalf and was told additional info from the medical report is needed. But no one told us this, or what info is needed. So hopefully this week we can make some calls and find out what is going on and what we need to do.

I don't know what color it is. He just said its the same Ap form he got before his student visa got denied. That denial was for lack of ties to return home. I don't see how that could be an issue this time. He asked why and they wouldn't say.

I don't know what happened. They said they couldn't issue it today, returned his passport and gave him some paper saying we were in AP. and the DOS site say we are in AP. He asked, but they wouldn't say what the issue is. I can't breathe. I guess we won't be getting married this year. He had a student visa application denied and it was in AP for 4 months before they denied it. So I am afraid this is going to take forever and still could end up denied.

AP and they didn't take his passport. No explanation. :'(

I do too. I was not expecting to get ours before you. We didn't even put a wedding date on the letter...

Okay good. Its hard for me as the petitioner who has done all the work for it so far to give up control and just wait as he takes over all the papers and stuff.

Its colder than NJ and its windy being right near the lakes. Yeah i'm glad he finally got the papers in too. His medical was yesterday and he said there was a horrible Welsh woman in the waiting room with him he hoped wasn't my VJ friend haha! I assured him it wasn't I just asked and he said he didnt put a date in the cover letter, just said he was ready... I hope he did it right. (we don't have a date set for the first wedding)

I've been to the UK 5 times but have never been to Wales. I have also never been to Michigan so I can't tell you much about it except that it is not at all like NJ. That is a big move though. Lots of big things in your future

Yeah it did cut off. He will probably fly when he has to go back to interview.

He sent the papers in on tuesday(13th) and said they had arrived and been signed for. He was told his medical results should be in on tuesday (20th) so I guess we are pretty much on the same timeline. I am really hoping to have him here by October.

Yeah he passed. Ooph 10 hours on a bus is no fun either. Where are you from? Gray is in Edinburgh. Your fiance in NJ isn't too far from me in Philly, but did I see that you are moving? Good luck with that!

When do you think the interview letter gets sent?

Graham had his yesterday. Spent 5 hours each way on the train to London. Too bad they don't do interviews on the same day so he wouldn't have to make the trip twice.

I have been looking but can't seem to find how long it is taking between medical and the interview letter. Have you seen anything? My tax returns haven't come in yet and I still need to get my support papers to him and would like to know the time frame we have to work with.

We decided to have a small wedding when he gets here and a bigger one next summer so we don't have that pressure on us right now. Good luck though and keep me updated! I am sure you will be able to make your october 27th date

Haha yeah I'll have to get on him about it AGAIN. You will definitely have your interview before us– I'm pretty sure he hasn't filled anything out yet. And its festival time in Edinburgh so he is going out a lot instead of working on it...

YAY Maybe we'll get our interviews on the same day too. What is your plan for sending in the forms? I don't think my finance is very on top of it.

Hi. Nope nothing yet I don't know if I should call TSC or wait for the email notice. My congressman's liaison said she emailed the records dept. but won't call again to check on it until friday. I am really hoping it gets sent out today!
