I have received electronic notification of my naturalization interview, however I have not received the letter by post (now 3 weeks since e-notification). Am I supposed to bring along original letter or can I just print out a copy of it?

I need to renew my passport ( I not a USC yet). Can someone tell me where I can get passport picture less than the 2x2 size ( not US passport size) . CVS, Walmart, portalannex won't do it. Thanks

My wife and I are currently out of country and we will be back 1 month before her 2 year green card expires. When she will get back will it be fine going thru POE at airport with a green card which will expire in a month? We will ROC after being back to the USA. Thanks for a reply

My wife will travel to her home country where she plans to renew her passport. Currently her passport is on her maiden name and she will have it change to her married name. Now what about her flight ticket since she will have her two way ticket issued on her maiden name( on current passport which will change to married name on renewal in home country)

My wife has more than $10000 in her home country. Is she required to file FBAR if she came in the US on August 2014 on a K1 visa ?

my wife and I did not earn any income during the tax year,we are unemployed and being supported by my mother, however she has savings abroad in her home country which amounts to $10 +. Will she have to disclose that in FBAR even if she didn't earn any income?

I got biometrics done one and half month ago. Two weeks ago I checked my case status which said:

"....Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. We will schedule an interview and send you a notice. If by Jan 7 you don't receive the interview notice please make a request on .....etc"

As of 7 Jan I didn't receive any interview letter,so I made a request to have a copy of appointment letter on their website. And today when I checked my case status again it states the same thing as quoted above except that the phase " if by 7 Jan you don't receive the interview notice please make a request on ..." has been removed. So my question is do you think I'm to get an interview date soon in the coming weeks or maybe it was just a mistake they made and corrected, and no interview date is saved yet? My concern is that I'm to travel to my home country for about 5 weeks and I don't want to have an interview schedule while I'm away. Also how much notice period they give you for interview? Thanks all

I'm in the process of aos for my wife. My mother is the joint sponsor and she has a certificate of US citizenship. However on said certicate it is written that it is illegal to make copy of same. So my question is how to give proof of US citizenship when one cannot make a copy of it. She has a US passport but it's expired. Thanks all

I mean do I still have to fill in the I 864 form for my wife AOS even if I have no income and is out of employment?

I'm filing for AOS for my wife. My mother will be joint sponsor and will fill in the form I-864 since I have no income and I have not been in employment for the past few years. Do I still have to fill in the I-864 form ?

a question when filling the form:

my fiancée is on a K-1 visa, will get married soon, but applying for the SSN in the meantime. About the form at Point 5 what should she fill in :I) ALien allowed to work or ii)Alien NOT allowed to work? We are yet to be married and get the employment authorization.

My fiancee had her medical done in Nairobi and is now back in her country waiting to go back to Kenya for the interview. Back to her country after the medical she found out that her name is wrongly written on her vaccination certificate which was issued to her. Can she remedy to that at this stage and how can this affect the whole process? Thanks for a response.

I would like some clarifications with the following:

my fiancee has a B2 tourist visa, and we are in the process of filling for a K1 fiancee visa

does obtaining a K1 cancel the B2?

While she will wait for her AOS and AP to be processed can she travel using her B2 (if it has not been cancelled when obtaining the K1)?
