Oh yes, Lainie B. My mistake. Yup, honolulu before sfo. Thanks!

Thanks for the concern Hank. I've rebooked my trip so the stopover in japan no longer applies. I really appreciate all the advice. Hope i don't encounter any problems traveling within the US.

Rebooked my flight to guam-sfo-atl then atl-ny-hawaii-guam. Both my parents and my older sister are there and they wanted me to come visit them instead of them coming here since that would be more expensive. They weren't even able to come for my wedding so i would really like to see them as soon as i can. I hope the flight i got won't pose any problems anymore. Wish me luck. Thanks again.

I agree. I have called immigration and they said the same thing. It's not that i don't trust the VJ members. I just wanna cover all the bases before i do anything. Anyway, sucks that i have to rebook but i guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. Thanks everyone.

Yeah, i figured rebooking is the answer but i just want to make sure since i've been told that if it is only a layover and i don't leave the airport, i didn't technically leave the US. I'll just call USCIS first just to make sure. Thanks for the info guys.

I have a layover in narita, japan and honolulu hawaii to get to atlanta. It was the cheaper flight i guess since it has has 2 layovers. I guess i'm gonna have to rebook it if it will pose a problem. Thanks!

Hi! I entered guam on a k1 visa, got married on august 24 then sent aos, ead and ap documents oct 8. My I-94 expires on oct 29. According to usps tracking, it hasn't been received yet so i'm just waiting on that. I've read that it's ok to travel to a different us state so long as i have my noa with me. I have booked a flight to atlanta to visit my mom and sister this oct 29. I have a connecting flight in narita, japan. Would that pose a problem with immigration? Also i will be staying in atlanta until dec 10 and i'm worried that it is possible that my biometrics appointment will be scheduled while i'm there. Any suggestions? Is it possible to walk in for biometrics in a state other than your place of residence?

Hi Chai Latte. Just want you to know that we have the exact same situation. No Notice of Eligibility yet but I went ahead and paid and scheduled my interview. The person I spoke to from the call center said that there may be a risk of having your appointment rescheduled if they have not fully processed your papers and the only way to know if they have is if you have received that notice. I'm a bit worried as well but it seems like it's such a waste of time to just wait for it when the case status online says READY. I hope someone enlightens us about this.

Hi! I am wondering how long it takes to get my packet or whatever it is that will be sent to me by the US Embassy Manila. I'm a bit confused. I've already set my interview appointment for July 3 and I'm wondering if I need the documents they will send before my interview. I've read in some posts that it is not necessary to wait for their mail. Upon checking my case status online, it says that my case is READY for interview appointment. Pls advise. Thank you.

Hi everyone. Since my sis did my booking for me, it turns out i was mistaken. All delta flights from guam to mainland have a layover in japan. I will be using miles so cant use any other airline. Guess i'm stuck here in guam for now. just wanted to post this in case anyone will have similar concerns.
