    Rather nervous, only a few hours to go. I'll wake up and know more about how his interview went. I'm trying not to get jealous of all those who filed and got approved within a few months, as we are coming close to our year, just hoping and praying that his visa will finally be approved. Rabi inshallah.

      Yes, please do share any additional information. I haven't heard of those two forms though (DS-230 and DS-156), is it maybe part of the old procedure? Those I've talked to on visajourney and Facebook haven't mentioned either of them, just the DS-160.

      Apparently they can automatically extend the approval period - we've already gone past ours (as of the end of February) but I was told not to worry.

    Hey, do all the documents needed for the interview need to be translated (police records, passport, etc.)? Or do they have to be in Arabic/French, or one or the other?

    What was your RFE for? It seemed to get resolved pretty quickly.

      I'm sorry about the wait time. I did a lot of research before we filed, but any wait is terrible. I am hoping you will get a response soon. We are at the RFE stage - we've mailed the required information to the lawyer, but it will take a few days before it arrives, and then he has to send everything to the California Processing Center. I'm hoping that we will get the RFE reply by the end of the month, and hopefully not two RFE's... I'll keep you two in my thoughts as well.
