  1. I sent an expedite request for my husband and child yesterday that was denied within 7 hours . They are in Khartoum Sudan and under fire .

There is carnage in the streets .

    Death tole rising.

    They said:

Based on a review of your request, your case does not meet one or more of the expedite criteria or otherwise merits expedited processing.

What do I do now ? Any ideas . Any help is welcomed . I am so worried about my family.

  2. So I want to Khartoum ,Sudan  and married my sweetheart of 9 years . We applied for a K1 visa several years ago and was not approved .

I need some support from you guys . I am gearing up to apply again for a spousal visa and really don't even know where to start . Any help will be appreciated , even if its someone in the same boat .

Anybody from Sudan or has applied to a spousal visa  from there ?

  3. Yeah, glad to do it. I totaled it up and my total time working on the skunkworks thing was more like 60 hours, but whichever. BTW, I didn't mention who I sent the petition to, mostly because I didn't want to receive any flack or hear other grumblings, as I wasn't in the mood after investing so much time, effort and energy. That said, I am simply in the type of mood at present that I just don't care if folk here wanna ####### all over it. So here it goes.

After direct appeals to the USCIS have failed, I and the other skunkworks team members realized that continuing such appeals made little sense. So we decided to go elsewhere. Kristin fired off stuff to the reporter and I wrote the previously-posted letter and supporting documentation and sent it to the White House. Yes, that's right, laugh it up, criticize it all you want, but that is what I did. I wrote to the White House. Should be there Friday. We'll see how long it lasts before it's thrown into the bin, but at least someone saw it. Kristin is going to send the letter to the Omsbudsman too, just for completion. We have other goings-on too, but I'll save those for a later post.

Anyway, the hacked-off mood is subsiding, so I'm gonna end here. Flame away!

  4. I write these lines with mixed emotions. I actually don't know how to write it. But I know how it feels to for wait for this day and this email. So I must pray for all who haven't been approved yet for a quick, very quick approval and then share that with the help and blessings of Almighty we have been APPROVED!. Email received at 11 pm sharp. No text. Status changed on site. Thanks you all sooooo much!

    Wonderful news !!!!

    Congrats !!!!
