Hello All,

My wife has her AOS appointment on October 5, 2006 and on the checklist we have NOA it says that she needs a medical exam. It also says unless other wise submitted. My question is...She took a medical exam in Manila for the K-1 Visa and then at Los Angeles (POE) immigration took the sealed enevolop from her which contained her medical results. We have her chest x-rays...IS THIS THE MEDICAL REPORTS THERE WANT AT THE AOS INTERVIEW OR DO WE NEED ANOTHER ONE?

Called USCIS and the person I talked to had no idea....

Please help...

Appointment is 10/05

If we need another the civil Surgeon is booked until 11/01

HOPEFULLY WE ARE GOOD TO GO.....

We had our biometrics on August 18 and everything went great. The lady at INS told us that my wife would recieve her green card before her got her work permit. I KNOW THAT'S NOT NORMAL SOWE MUST BE BLESSED?

My wife recieved her SS #, but we have still yet to recieve anything about the EAD. Can she get a job now or do we have to wiat for a reciept for the EAD?

I have looked through the FAQ's section and didn't see this topic. i was wondering if there is any hidden fees at customs that my fiance will have to pay. (When she arrives in LA will she have to pay a port of entry fee anything like that and if so how much is it?)

Also where do we get the I-94 form or should my fiance already have it with her form the packet 4?

Stupid question but I need to know...

Does anyone out there in VJ land have experience using E-Tickets (Electric Tickets). I found a flight for my fiancee but it is a e-ticket...I have never used one and i was wondering just how reliable the E-tickets are....the price is right and her POE (Chicago) would be 22 hours closer to me then all others (LAX) I have found.

If anyone has an opinion on this please let me know....

I went through the Nebraska service center and i rec'd my NOA1 eight days after i sent in my I-129F and my NOA2 followed three weeks after that. I rec'd them before my dates appeared on the processing time website. I think it just depends on how busy they are at the time your petition was sent...

It's getting to be that time. Our interview is in three days.

My fiancee and I used her address in the province for all the paperwork since that is where she was when we filed, but for the last month and a half she has been staying in Manila to finish up her medical transcription classes in Quezon City. Do you guys think it would be ok to have her tell the embassy people to have the visa delivered at the boarding house she is staying at in Manila or should we just let the visa go to the province?

Her classes end a week after the interview.

My fiancee is in Manila and looking for a plane ticket. She has only been able to find one that will get her from Manila to Los Angeles. They are saying they can not get her any connecting flights from Los Angeles to my Chicago, Kansas City, Des Moines or St. Louis...

Is there anyone that is dealing or has dealt with the Philippines that can help me out here? There has to be a aganecy in Manila that can book the enter trip to one of the places listed above...

The I-134 is needed at the interview and the medical can be scheduled any time before the interview

My faincee is from the Philippines and we sent our I-129F in 9/30/05 and got our NOA 2 on 11/03/05.

I would contact CSC and see what is up...

when you recieve packet 4 the interview date and medical date will be listed on the paperwork....My fiance rec'd packet 4 around March 2 and our interview is April 19...I hope this helps answer your question

I've been looking up the paperwork needed for Adjustment of Status (AOS) and Employment Authorization Document (EAD)...Here is want I found..

I-94 Arrival & Departure Record $6.00

I-485 Adjustment of Status $325 + $70.00 Biotech

I-765 Employment Authorization Document $180.00

Can someone tell me if that is correct and if I need the supplements as well...or am I missing a form?
