  1. Thanks for letting me know. It's frustrating...I've been given unclear information for months. I do not think the website works, NVC and CSC do not integrate. I was suggested to call for rescheduling, then they set up the wrong category. Agent over the phone has no knowledge of problem solving. I'm given different instructions each time when I call. Frustrating...

Yes it is super frustrating on my login it showed that I had no appointment scheduled even though it had been scheduled by the NVC, as you said zero integration and communication between the two groups. Don't fret you are almost there!

  2. Hi Mikereff, have you managed reschedule your interview? I'm having problem with that. I appreciate your prompt response.

Unfortunately there was nothing available earlier only later so we had to use the original date. I called every day because I was told sometimes cancelations open up, but we had no luck.

  3. If you did not do EP and the NVC has your documents, yes they will send them to Montreal and you will get them back there.

BTW, it's cool to meet another Canadian headed to Denver! biggrin.png

and OMFG we were married on the SAME DAY!!!

Congrats on your approval, it looked like your case moved quick! Its funny but I was looking at your profile yesterday and thought all of the same things! Crazy... are you in Denver yet? Or on your way?

  4. Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with the CSC visa information web site? We are moving on to the embassy

appointment phase of our visa, and the "appointment package - immigrant visas" instructions says:

    First: register at http://colombia.usvisa-info.com

that word "register" is fairly ambiguous. If I try to log in to an existing account, it says the passport number

is not in the system. If I establish a new account, it says we have no appointment, even though we do.

Has anyone gone through this process already, and did you find a preexisting account with your

    interview appointment date?

    Thanks,

    Scott

Have you received your interview appointment date via NVC? I just received mine today than had to register as a new account on the CSC site as I was getting the same response. After we set up our account it still showed that we had no appointment date, apparently it only shows up if you have set the date through that system and not if you have been given one via NVC.

  5. When i get interview packet 4 from NVC it says there my interview in on June 11 and if anyone cant keep the appiontment date then they can reschdule.I research on CSC site and called CSC to inquiry if i can reschdule they said yes so they offer me early date(May 22) which was available so they book me an appointment. I email Montreal and their auto response says if you want to reschdule than go to csc website. Here is the instruction ...

    http://photos.state....t4-montreal.pdf

So my question is how can i cancel my (June 11,2012) interview which was booked by nvc and be conform that the reschduled( May 22,2012) will have no issue when i go for interview in Montreal.(CR1 visa)

    Can anyone help?

I am in the same process with my wife, I just got her interview date today and I would like to reschedule it for an earlier date. When you called was the earlier date available right away or did you have to call back several times?

  6. First of all, can I ask you totimeline.gif ? I wanted to check your timeline to see what country you're filing for buuuut you didn't have one. sad.png

I don't think all consulates contact you. Our consulate sent us an email, and gave us a list of documents we needed specifically, but you might want to ask others from your country to get a better idea of whether to expect some sort of correspondence from the consulate. If the P4 says you need to bring the docs to the interview, do it. They wouldn't put that for nothing, and it's better to be safe than sorry. good.gif

I filled it in my info, I am just a bit confused or discouraged because I had to submit original documents to the NVC such as police certificate, mariage certificate, and birth certificate which were difficult to obtain. Now they ask them again at the consulate interview but the NVC has them? When i called the NVC they said they will send the documents to the consulate so I hope that is the case, anybody have any experience with that?
