    Hello,

    I am a US citizen and I have filed an I-130 for my wife (She is outside of USA) and just received the receipt (I-797) and email saying "accepted and routed to the USCIS Vermont Service Center for processing"

    Last year I filed taxes with my x-wife as a joint account (CPA recommended). Can I submit the I-864 to support my wife without the signature of my x-wife since her name on the taxes? Or do I need I-864A signed by x-wife?
