  1. Okay all added back to normal. I know you are going over for the interview right? Really happy for you dear. Yes breathe. you have closets to clean out soace to make for hubby. hehe wooo whooo I know you are floating noiw.

omg you have no idea, as hard as this process and draining as it has been, I definitly learned that giving up shouldnt be an option when you know you worked hard on something and above all god is always on time!!!!!

  2. You flew through the process from start of filing to case complete in 7 months, which is super fast for a CR1 !!!

The few months waiting for an interview are nothing. If your case goes into AP for an average time length of an additional 5 months

then I would gladly trade with your journey over my 16 months AP, denial and re filing.

I honestly don't think you have anything to complain about at this time.

But if you rather live in the currently unstable country of Egypt with riots and war than waiting a few more month, then go for it.

I can not for the life of me understand your decision to quit 5 minutes before the stroke of 12.

I hope you will not end up with regret and have to start all over again in the future.

You say you do not have the money to visit him again but you have the money to move there ?

Request all originals back from NVC in writing and then you will have them. Easy peasy. Good luck with the move.

I honestly dont know through the long journey of yours if you got to be with your significant other during the time of ur journey, but pretty sure at some point of time you have, becuase you were able to, but again.i dont know and about my move money, if you need me to get technical and in details the ticket to go visit only is over a grand, not including extra money to spend and the one way ticket is 600$ only and we will live back with our family there.

I dont know what kind of job you have but im pretty sure its not a 8/hr job, which im gonna have to.save thouse 600$ from that 8/hr job which is alot easier than 1300$ +....

And Egypt is my home country and I was born there and lived there during all the struggles my country went through and I coped with it fine. and if something would happene to me or my husband's life id rather take my last breath being with him.

the country you have your case processing is.completely different from egypt, the embassy in egypt have always made it complicated for the egyptian applicants no matter what.

there were reasons to why we descided to start the paper work in case your wondering" then why you want to live in the us",and they are personal and no need to share all my life details.

Im definitly not going to waste months or Years of my life and my husband's being away from each other trying to fight for a visa especially if its not meant to be.

well wheather you care for all that I wrote or not, that is not my point, my point here is that everybody cope with situations differently and everybody's life is.different and everybody got their own system in life and its up to them what they.choose and not for anybody to tell them what is right for them or judge their descions or actions especially when they dont know the complete detail of that person's life, because everybody knows what is right for their own life.

god bless you in your journey and hope things go fastet for you and for your hard work and struggle.

  3. But... you're so close to the end. Why quit when you're pretty much at the last part? If your case is complete as your signature says, all you need to do is the medical and interview, right? So confused.

yea my case been completed on the date I have on my signature 07/22, but this whole time no interview and I called nvc and the lady told me my husband wont even.have an intetview for november, and ive been away from my husband a year I left him in october of last year to come here and start things, and I havent seen him since, and you would think well go see him, well the tickets are.not that cheap and.we are.definitly not that rich or have the financial ability to do so like others. so im not going to hange around here for another 3 or 4 months waiting to just get an interview and then possibly another 10 months if my husband ends up in AP after the interview, so im not going to. waist our live waiting for this, the immigration system in this country sucks and not worth dealing with, I wish I wouldve known!!!

  4. You are so close to the end.... Is that really what you want to do?

im no where near the end, this is not even worth it anymore, im not willing to loose my marriage and my husband over this either, the us is just a country just like any other, we tried my I guess it not meant to be for us to live here, I wish everybody else on here the best of luck on their journey truely from my heart because I know how everybody worked hard for this, god bless you all in every step of the way till the end of this journey for all of you, but its not worth to stress for and stay away from my husband and loose my marriage for me !!! my life with him and being with him Is worth way more. I didnt realize it was going to be like this, I wish I never left him and stayed with him back home and didnt start this process at all...

  5. All I can say is shame on NVC they suck this month with hardly much interview assignments and so little case completes. here's hoping the new center opening today.

How is everyone doing out there been a quiet month.

stressed and about to give up on this, its been 2 months and still no interview!!!!! I just over it , its beyond ridiculious, this starting to not be even worth it anymore for me not to be or see my husband for a year!!!!! oh by the way sharaby03 had their interview august 29th.

  6. actually Ive never been rude or argumentative if that is what your getting out of my frustrations here, ive been supernice to every single human being I spoke to from the beginning.of this journey and nobody I spoke to was as awful like them, they have been utterly rude from the start of getting a case number till this, so you had the good ones and I got the crappy ones, I had a lady that was a tier 2 that scream at me as I was asking my question because she had been asked the same question too many times that day, I had a guy hung up on me with out even letting me inquire about my case, I asked one question I got a no and have a night day and a hung up literarly, I had an old lady telling me in a very rude way to basically go #### myself because I asked.about my case number too many times when it was only 3 times after waiting almost a month,l with out even coming near their number and a complete jerk that told me that I didnt send required documents when I already did and told me well we dont have and you need to resend it with out explaining what might've happened. and so did my husband they treated him bad, and my friends that delt with them said the.same exact thing, so im not crazy lol....

and yes I may seem that im the bad guy and im rude to them first, but I never once was.and neither was my husband and we still get the crappy attitude and that what gets us.....

and I did already I emailed them twice and they said we.are.waiting on the nvc to schedule and that was that!!!!!

either way im not really here to mainly vent over these people it just happenes to be part of the subject, my purpose for this post really to get an answer to the question that the nvc people seem so hard to answer if this is normal for them and if my valuables are safe with them as in with the nvc staff that handle the files, because i getting sick of the same scripted line they say when you get an interview you will be informed, which is an answer that has nothing to do with what I asked for to begin with.

  7. I was not talking about the letter I was talking about the medical it expiers after a certain time, and the country not as bad as it seems, all my family live in egypt and literarly they live right next to embassy they can see it from their window and nothing is happening no where near the embassy, there is alot of army and alot of protection around the embassy more than anywhere else and they changed alot of their ways of entenace to the embassy its almost impossible to get in there, they are very protected, and I know that for sure I was there last year and lived 2 years there during even the revolution on the 25th of jan that took place in 2011 and I saw with my own eyes all the precautions and safety procedures they have and made for the embassy since then and still going.

what gets me that they dont even try to come up with solutions to ease the wait especially the nvc and their utterly rude, senceless, useless, and disrespecting agents. uscis agents are no where near as rude and disrespecting as the nvc, and uscis is government and they try to make.as much as they can , but nvc is not governmental center which explains why they dont give a rats.### about anybody that calls them needing their help, they are on top of it when it comes to taking money, but after that, we are worth nothing....

  8. actually the embassy is working fne there, my family live there and say everythingis fine and nothing is happening like media trying to make it seem, and I know people who are also filers from. egypt and they got their interviews way earlier than I did and they got case complete around same time as I did, same visa category and country, I dont want them to know at the last minute because my husband didnt even get his medical yet waiting on the interview letter because we know its valid for only certain time and its quite expensive there to get done and ive also read about people getting their interviews and not knowing and ending up missing their appointments and some getting their valuables lost and I certainly cant afford to have them loose any piece of data or paper I sent them because its not easy to get papers again especially from egypt, I though this process would go in a professional matter but nothing did from start to finish and that is based on not only me but other experiences ive read about in this site, what a shame how they make a bad image of this country and very unorganized and on top of all no respect to their customers petitioners and applicants, they sit on a desk all day on a computer and in the end of the day they go home and the day is over for them.but people like us have to live in that nightmare till its over, what a shame...

and people that have been waiting since may in june some dont even log back on vj to inform and they seem no news and some are really no interviews yet, but I know th 2 from egypt on ms dwheels list one didnt even log to vj since may and the other already had their interview and didnt inform ms dwheels or made a post, not everybody want to share everything like people like ms dwheels expect them to do.

  9. ok im starting to panic its been almost 2 months since my case complete and STILL NO INTERVIEW????? is this normal, im very worried and frustrated!!!!! what should I do, I called nvc and these people are utterly rude and useless and im worried they might of lost my valuables, and non of them seem to know what they'er doing, but im panicing and losing my last thread of patience with this!!!!!!!

  10. From what i have been seeing in the US embassy's website, they are scheduling more K1 VISA interviews. When i was checking their website in may, they had like 2 k1 visa scheduled for interviews. sO.. LETS JUST Hope that we will all get our interviews soon; maybe in the next two month. Also the people who got their ANOVA 2 approval from USCIS in jan, feb, and march i think already had their interview or they are having it now in the month of Aug or Sep, WITH A FEW EXCEPTION. Like i noticed that on the timeline on this website, some people who got their approval in march had their interview before people who had their ANOVA 2 in Feb. I don't know why that is. Maybe it depends on who finished their Packet 3 1st. !! ??? idk. So people like me who got their approval in April, May, June should be getting it soon, in Order i hope. Let just hope and pray that they don't close and keep scheduling a lot of people for K1 VISA.

have they been scheduling any IR1 visas by any chance do you know, I had my noa2 in april and I had my case complete a month ago and still no interview :(

  11. My fiance and I are also considering transferring our case to another embassy we are thinking of Jordan. I have yet to write them.

Our lawyer told me it takes 2-3 months to transfer a case! Does anyone have information on how long it takes, please?

We returned the package with all forms to the consulate and its been with them since July 10th so well over a month and still no interview. I am concerned that it will take months to get an interview date. When I check the status on the embassy website & see they are open, I become hopeful, but do they even still schedule/conduct interviews?

I can see how theyd want to take care of r3'ere-scheduled applicants or those in AP. We havent even received an interview date yet.

If anyone is in the same situation (ie waiting for interview), please share your thoughts with me.;especially that embassy

    Thank you

    Soli55

waiting on interview for my husband we had a case complete on 22nd of july and I have a friend that had a casecomplete in june and still no interview yet through egypt as well,im thinking if I start in the route of having a transfer the embassy starts moving, but they schedule more than applications perday, but I dont understand how they run things in that embassy especially that embassy, I myself dont know what to do, I want to know does it take 2 3 months to transfer for all visa categories or certain visa categories???
