  1. Dear all, i am about to file the citizenship form but i have few questions about it :

Part 2 >> #6 USCIS Online account number >> What is this?

Part 10 >> #8 about how many times has my spouse been married >> is this including with our marriage or just the previous ones?

    Part 10 >> #8 C >> about prior spouse date of birth >> how if he doesn't remember ?

    Part 12 >> #7A >> The answer is No

7B If you answered "YES", did you consider yourself to be a "non U.S. Resident? >>> Should i mark "No" or just leave it blank?

Is there any example letter of explanation to describe about my spouse's prior marriage?

Should i sending them some of utility bills, Insurances etc ? or just sending them what is in already on the list ( Form M-477 )?

I think that's all that i can think of for right now, thanks in advance for your help.

  2. I've a question regarding Infopass for my friend. She is still waiting her ROC. Got her NOA on February. Sent RFE arrived on 11/20/15 and no news / letter yet.

Now she is worry about her status. Her passport expired already but her Driver license still valid until 2017.

If she has no new GC yet, does her DL will expire too? Or it'll be fine just with Infopass? and what kind of doc she should bring? Her expired passport & GC?

    That's all & thank you

  4. It all depends where you live but I think most states are going to be similar. I am in Ohio. I am actually a notary myself. I can only charge a couple of dollars to notarize something but I never do.

Check with your bank to see if someone there can notarize documents for you. Keep in mind that it is the person who writes the letter who must have it notarized. They need to sign the letter in front of the notary so the notary can witness the signature.

Ok then Ms Hogan, thanks again. :)

  5. You should have letters notarized. This shows that the person who signed the letter is the actual person and not just someone making up letters on their own. All the notary is doing is saying that the person who is signing it is that person. The notary is not saying the information in the letter is true or not.

ooops i forgot to asks, do you know where do we could find a notary? it has to be a special lawyer or free notary or ? thank you

  6. Have you prepared wills, medical powers of attorney, and similar documents? These are the strongest possible evidence.

    1. Bring everything that spans the entire period of your marriage.

    2. Yes.

    3. Copies might do; bring as many originals as possible.

    4. One from every quarter since you've been married.

    5. Bring everything that was sent to USCIS. Better to have it and not need it than the converse.

Thanks so much TBone, i've everything and lots of picture too

  7. I am preparing all my proofs for my ROC on this March and me and husband has a new bank joint account since last year and we were closed the other one, so my question, is it okay if i just sending them the paperworks since last year ?

And 2nd question is about health insurance trail, we do have a same insurance card but we don't know how to print the paperwork, is it okay just sending them our copies of insurance cards?

3rd : does all the pictures must be sending to them not the original ones/ have to copy all of them?

4th : how many months do i have to sending the utility bills to them?

5th : Just in case if i have an interview, should i take every paperworks that i already submitted to USCIS? or should i bring any passport photo ( as i read there was a member here been asked )

Thank you so much in advance for your help, appreciate it

  8. It's possible to still get an interview even if you have the most persuasive package you can. Sometimes they just randomly select an application for an interview. However, if the evidence meets a certain threshold of persuasive evidence it's highly unlikely that you will receive an interview.

If you are selected for an interview, be as prepared as possible just like AOS. Good luck!

Thanks for your help HappyChic & Seth
