I am posting here the interview of one member of VJ. She left VJ long time ago. I helped her with Vawa and it was approved without RFE, it took 13months to have her Vawa adjudicated ,plus 8 months with NBC.She never received any email from USCIS saying her case was transferred from NBC to local office.

She lives 5 hours away from USCIS (Florida). She got a letter to have her interview today at 10am, and her fingerprints done at 10.30am,since her fingerprints was taken almost 2 years ago. She said the whole interview took 15min. The female officer asked her questions of the form I-485, those questions to say yes or no, then the adjudicator asked to see her passport she showed the expired passport and proof that she applied last month to get a new one , original birth certificate, original marriage certificate, asked if she was still married she said yes, that is it, and then the alien said I have pictures and some documents with me regarding my marriage the officer said "your I-360 was approved I don't have to see anything. You will get your GC in 2months after FBI send us your fingerprints, go to do your fingerprints now. If in two months you don't receive your green card , wait two more months, and if you still don't get your GC then contact us". The officer did not ask any proof of her husband status.

If thats the case why kitty kitty without a green card because she ddnt have husbands birth paper or proof of residency or something to that effect,why dd he ask me my husbands status.Do you think I made that up?Im just curios thats all. I ddnt have to redo fingerprint despite it being 18 months old but now this woman has to redo fingerprints. Again , I'm just curios

I went to my interview just a couple hours ago. After I answered all the question, the adjudicator said they cannot make the decision right now, she will review the case the notify the decision by mail.

I am still shocked from that. I don't know what that means. Why can't she just approve my case. Why does she need more time? I am probably the only one person I know walked out from the interview with no decision yet.

ohhh nooooo!!!!! but don't be depressed, it has happened to another before and then 1 or 2 weeks later they got the approval.Be hopeful please. Depression can take you out especially now.God is gonna work it out.. please state the type of questions they asked so others can know.Thanks

i have interview in a few and i am walking with every document.I hope your attorney has your originals and not copies.You must have originals for interviews. If you did medicals i don't know why you will have to redo it unless it is as a result of independent applications. Wouldn't make sense anyway.Nevertheless.I just did my medicals and is taking ti with me along with all my docs i sent for i360 approval.Just in case

Don't need luck when you got GOD., Please walk with original documents for interview. You must walk with your documents as well

how are you?

i finally can set a countdown timer to my interview. i just got mail that says i have an interview in February. I went to the local infopass and have been told i can have an interview in anytime. this "anytime" made me to wait two more months. and the files is in the local field already 3 months at that time.

now when the countdown timer is in front of me, i suddenly feel it is the most difficult waiting time than ever to me. "dont panic, calm, patient,just relax" i told myself again and again.

i will let you guys know the result in february.

I just hope the folks who have interview this week comes back and posts. There was once who had interview last week or so and has not said anything. I don't know why!!.I won't mention their name but I pray it worked out

My ex completely lied about every aspect of her vawa...and she is still here in the USA (not in removal proceedings) raping the system for cash...lucky her.

So? You don't think it will be a lot more difficult for her to start a new life and career in a country where she knows virtually no one but you? It would be far more easy to go home and re-establish herself than to start from scratch in the US. You make it sound like she had this dream job and wonderful family at home, she was heartbroken to leave it all, now after spending a few weeks here in a so called terrible marriage she would rather stay here with a bunch of strangers rather than go home to everything she knows and loves. If she was so heartbroken to leave she would be running back. Sounds to me she or you have been reading up on VAWA and are looking for reasons to be able to file. You say he wanted a slave, does she have proof? Or did she ask him for a letter for that too? This whole story seems far fetched. We gave you unbiased advice, she needs to go home, she has no other choice. Just because it isn't the answer you were looking for, doesn't mean it isn't the correct advice. Why do people ask questions here and then get upset that it isn't what they want to hear?

She can read up on many vawa cases if she wants she does not have a vawa case at a llll, she will so waste her time and of course be deported in the process

I applied to the post office a week ago, ( they hire u with green card) and was sent assessment online test to do, i passed that , then was sent to do another exam at a physical location today. I saw in my email i passed that as well. Hopefully i get interview soon.. GOD IS WORKING ALL OUT

I just checked the prices (near me, but I can't imagine they vary much) for a post office box rental, and it's a little over $4 a month.

I think you have to do a 6 month minimum, and its 30$.60$ for a year

The mail comes at around 2:00-2:30 each day, my wife as never got the mail. My step daughter usually gets the mail after she gets off the school bus at 2:50 from now on I'm going to get the mail.

it took one month to get interview date or interview notice

5 maybe 6 days after email of transfer for interview letter,which gave me 1 month for actual interview.when was your case transferred

interview will NOT be waived.. why should it be.. when my case was transferred it took a month

I would take another RFE any day over a denial .But people do normally get NOID before actual denial ,right ?

I think so but not sure, don't worry about all that nonsense if your case is good itll get approved.. good,in the sense where the adjudicator don't have to question if you were abused, but can see on supporting documentation the abuse!hopefully Sandranj had the to re-read your stuffs and so forth

As for me it was my second RFE . Sandranj or Anajnic have you guys seen anyone who got RFE`d 3 times ?

I haven't but whose to say it hasn't happened. It better to get 2 RFE than 1 RFE and a denial,so right now it is what it is

I want to let something very clear here, many people sent me messages, emails and when i asked some questions they vanished. If you need my help then for God sake answer my questions, do not waste my time with your story and asking my help and when I answer questions you guys/girls vanish. My time is precious, if you don't value your time I do value mine! Until you don't value yourself you won't value your time.

only once, I applied in March 2012 and the ending April I was RFE"d.. I sent it back in May Got approved the following year in April,2013

I really hope so . They requested good faith . No psychological evaluation was submitted with my application but we did that recently with the RFE. the response was submitted in August . we were supposed to hear from them within 60 days .It is now passed 5 months

When i submitted my RFE, i also was expecting 60 days, it took 1 year to get a response. but i got RFE"D 1month after submission of docs. but you are different, you will hear something soon.. just continue to live your life don't be consumed by this at all. It will happen soon for you
