    $120k a year so i can say i got lucky 1st Married the most wonderful man on this planet and Landed a nice job in par with what i was doing in India, just more responsibilty. It took over a year, so many interviews so to everybody that's out there and still job hunting, be patient, take a course or 2 to update your skills( employers like to ask what have you been doing) at least you get somethign to tell them!!!

    Sorry...i didnt have an opprotunity to come back last night....

    First off, baby is happy and healthy, so thats relief #1!!! Yeah!

    secondly......the nurse was able to determine that im having a happy healthy baby............and thats about it. its not a boy, its not a girl, its stubborn! it had its legs crossed for most of the time, plus it was face down so i could only see the back of the head and the ear. It did turn its head for a split second so that i could see an eye....but then it turned right back around! She did say that if she had to guess that she would say its a girl....but only by guess as the baby was not fully cooperating. so im back to square one!

    It sucks too, cause i got myself excited to find out what its going to be and now i have to wait until i have it to know for sure!

    I bet if i had another ultrasound right now, the baby is sticking its tounge out at me! :P

    Believe me, im about ready to jump out of my skin! its not until three, but im gonna try and actually do some work today at work so hopefully time will fly!! :P

    I just have to keep reminding myself that i have to drink a lot of water and i cant pee......

    Awww, poor faith! sorry your stuck in bed! I didnt realize that bedrest literally meant you arent allowed to get out of bed at all! that would drive me crazy!!!

    Hope the lil guy is doing good! hope you feel better too!! (at least you have an excuse to have hubby wait on you hand and foot!) :P

    So, ive decided that im going to do a countdown to when i have my ultrasound....on thursday i will probably countdown to the hour...just warning you all! :P

    officially two days from right now i will have my ultrasound! :yes:

    also, my doc didnt call me so im assuming that i have a clean bill o health! no diabeties here my friend! :dance:

    Well, I was an auto mechanic for 11 years, so I can give the mechanic viewpoint. Ditto what has been said. lol.

    Cars to consider:

    Honda

    Toyota

    Subaru

    Nissan

    (older) Volvo

    VW

    Kia

    (newer) Hyundai (old ones were #######)

    Suzuki

    Geo (GM, but not made by GM - made by Suzuki and others)

    Cars to avoid at all costs:

    ANYTHING by GM (including Hummers.)

    BMW

    Isuzu (GM)

    Mitsubishi (Chrysler)

    Undecided:

    Ford

    Chrysler (newer ones. Old ones are #######)

    Mazda (Ford - used to have issues, but I think they're better now)

    My husband is a mechanic too, but he would pretty much put all of your undecided cars into the bad list. He hates working on US cars. he has a toyota tundra 2003 that he loves and i have a 1996 lexus es330 that has over 165000 miles that hasnt failed me yet!

    we've decided that we are toyota lovers all the way :P

    Ok, for all of you telling me how bad the orange ####### tastes......i was freaking out for nothing. downed it in less than 2 minutes. it reminded me of the orange soda from macedonia, really sweet! but it wasnt as bad as i was expecting!

    anyway, so she took my blood on friday and told me that if there were any concerns with the test she would call me today. so im keeping my fingers crossed that i dont get a phone call today!

    I finally have an ultrasound scheduled for thrusday afternoon!!!!!!! i am soo excited to finally be able to get that done too! WooHoo!!!! :dance:

    Well I had my Ultrasound Wednesday to find our why I'm measuring big.

    The U/S revealed that my fluid is on the high side of normal ...and also my lil guy is measuring 31 weeks 4 days that is almost 3 weeks ahead of where he should be...he is at 3 pounds!!

    The Doc says not to worry that everything can even out, and sometimes the u/s is off on the baby's measurements because the fluids act as a magnifying glass. Everything else looks healthy and that's all that matters!

    Both my other kids were big babies... my son 9lbs 6oz and my daughter 8lbs 13oz... but neither measured big in the 7th month!

    All that matters right now is that the baby is healthy!! :dance:

    I have my dreaded diabeties test today.....ugh, not looking forward to it! but hopefully my doc will finally have me go and get my ultrasound done after this visit. I definately want to make sure that the baby is happy and healthy too. plus i cant wait to see what im having! (not that ive made that such a secret here :P ) but the not knowing part is definately stressful, so hopefully i can finally get that done!

    I didnt get to see much either, but be prepared....CAUSE ITS HUGE!!! i was completely amazed when i was looking out the window on the plane.....so just dont get lost and you'll be fine!

    Updation: almost no hope of a 2006 (even going all the way to 12/31) baby, but possibility of early 2007 (basically, we're trying actively at the moment).

    they always schedule my appointments immediately after my u/s. So I'm only there once. Hopefully you'll get some good news!!

    Oh my, I really have gotten bigger the past couple of days. I've noticed my belly bumping into doors because I'm not used to it being so big :lol:

    My U/S are at a different office than my Docs.... and as for getting bigger....hmmm I had to move the car seat back so my tummy wouldn't hit the stearing wheel :whistle::lol:

    Let me just say that you are both farther along than i am (27weeks tomorrow), and i have been bumping into everything for the past two-three weeks or so....!

    Ive already gained 30 pounds and ive got three more months to go! :help:
