Thanks everyone for moral support! I have to say that I'm delighted and extremely happy right now! With that being said, there are many others that awaiting their petition to be approved and for that I commend each and every one of you for your patience, diligence, and perseverance. Being apart from your loved one is an intolerable torture that requires sarifice. Sooner or later, we will all reach our final destination!!! No doubt about that!

I sent them my RFE as well but yet to hear back from them. What is taking so long? I will shoot myslef if it takes all 60 days or more to come to a decision. Forgot to check the box on the petition and that's what I get... more waiting!

How long did it take you to receive yours after they received an RFE from you?

I received the same RFE as you, send it back, they are processing and still nothing... It's going to be a week tomorrow... what is taking so long? I can't wait any more. People from February are being approved which is a good sign but I'm a December filer...

Russia specific question....

My fiancee has a daughter that will be coming along with her to the US. She is only 4. It is my understanding that her father's permission is required in this situation even though a child has her own passport. I'm lookign for an example of a form/template/verbage/language that explains and outlines the specifics of this situation in legal and binding terms. Just want to make sure we cover all the bases before proceeding and that the form is enforceable by law once it's signed and notarized. Is there such a form? Whoever was in the same situation as us please share your experence. You help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What the hell is NBI , ITR and CEMAR????

Pre-Screener:

3. How did hubby get to US
4. Who petitioned them
5. Date of marriage
6. Daughter's name and date of birth

8. When did hubby last visit us

Then she instructed us to prepare wedding pics, chat logs, proof of remittances, love letters for they will be asked by the CO. I felt nervous co i dont have those. I only have pics.

CO:
Asked us (me and baby) to raise right hand and swear.
1. Name and date of birth
2. When did hubby last visit us

Then asked NOTHING! No documents. No pictures. Just told us CONGRATULATIONS! And told my baby, study hard when you go to US.

You can't use your primary home. I think you will be fine. Look at the povery guidelines here. If there are 3 of you then you will need at least $24K that is pretty much all.

Just got an update from USCIS... an RFE :-( On 9-May-2013 we mailed you an RFE... I probably even know what is this for... Stupid Section C of the petition. Do not leave anything blank guys. Write out N/A or NONE this way you won't see any RFEs. Frustrating. I just want to get it already and send it back. Anyone else who filed in December received an RFE and what evidence they are requesting?

Give it 2-3 weeks for an RFE to be processed. It can easily take up to 60 days for it to go through. I just got an update from them as well requesting an RFE and I went back and looked at the forms and sure as hell forgot to answer question #2 in Part C. F*****!!!! Mad as hell!!! I will write N/A as well for question #3.

Just got an RFE request. Sucks. Hard copy will be coming in the mail pretty soon. This will delay things even further. Maaan :-(

i hope we'll be having positive results this month. is it possible that December filers can be approved within June to August?

With the current processing mess at CSC it is highly unlikely. If I hear back from them before Christmas that would be a miracle!

A late December filer. Filed on 12/24/12. Received my NOA1 on the 12/28/12. Pretty fast. Still in "Initial Reveiw" mode. California Service Center is the worst. They are moving extremely slow. Expected wait time is 7-8 months for NOA2. Hoping to receive my NOA2 in July or August, though. Wishful thinking, I guess.
