Thanks. I didn't even know you could receive an RFE after biometrics. Now I know that one can actually receive an RFE at anything, even after the interview.

Was scheduled for 5/22, but did an early one on 4/25.

Got an RFE text today so I guess it is possible to get an RFE after biometrics.

Called USCIS today and they said the Missouri office where our file is currently located is very backed up and that is why it is not updated on the website. He could actually see that we did our fingerprints already and they are just waiting on the results so I believe that early walk-ins does speed up the process. Was also told that most likely our would be transferred to our local USCIS office since they are so backed up right now.

My package was received by USCIS on the 6th but I didn't hear anything back until the 22nd so don't worry too much. Did you track your package?

Uscis website still only says acceptance even though we already had fingerprints so it looks like they do not update the website often.

Ok finally had a successful walk in on 4-30. Our USCIS location is always crowded so went in very early, but everyone that went in before us with walk-ins were getting sent away. So we told them we were coming early because had been waiting for over a year for a green card because USCIS made several mistakes on our other cases and it worked. Our original appointment date was for 5-22( almost a month away) so if we hear something before then we will know if the early walk-in actually speed ups the process.

The I 131 is not necessary in most cases but let me be sure .

You got and appointment for the interview with a uscis officer or for your biometrics ??

You make an info pass online to go down to the local office to fill out an app or enquire about a pending case. I went there to check on I-131, since. I hadn't received a confirmation yet. I will go back next week to refile the I-131 in person to expedite the process, which will be good to travel for one month.

I filed April 4 and packages arrived April 6. I actually didn't receive my email confirmation until April 22 which said the 765 was accepted the 7th and the 485 was accepted the 21st, 131 was denied (by error) for non payment. Only found out I had an appointment for May 22nd by going to the local office. Still no email/text notification yet, but the printed the appointment date for me.

Went to USCIS info pass today. Even though our I-485 and I-765 show acceptance in on the website, they told us at the local office that we have an interview for the May 22nd and printed a copy for us. Our I-131 was rejected for non payment by human error( which is strange since all three apps where attached together.) Tried early walk-in, but got denied because they were very busy...will try again next week.

Email confirmation for 485 & 765 sent at 11:30PM on the 22nd ( 765 has and acceptance date of the 7th and 485 date is the 21st....strange)

Still awaiting confirmation of 131

Sent package via USPS priority mail on the 4th, package delivered on the 6th, haven't recieved a text/email notification yet.

Package sent 4/4 and delivered 4/6 to Chicago Lock box....awaiting NOA.
