Hey Congrats hun!!!!! No it doesn't takes long to receive your interview date.... i want to say no more than 2 weeks! Then again it depend on the embassy. Mine took 1 week after NVC case was completed... Then interview date was for3 weeks later!! At which point you need to get your medical screening done. Good luck

Hi guys I am filling out my n-400 form. I downloaded it from the website.

The application insist that I type "N/A" on everything, but many of the empty spaces do not allow N/A. Spaces such as spouse, children information, time outside USA, other names used since birth, etc. The application also insist that I don't leave any blank spaces, but some of the hints say to only fill out certain things if it is applicable. For example, it asked if my father is a U.S. citizen, if yes, fill out the information below. I chose no, so do I just leave those spaces blank? Tried typing N/A in there but it do not allow me.

The instructions on this form is terrible considering it is a government form.
