After getting a 221g at the interview July3 we were able to get the required documents back to the embassy on July 30....today Aug 2 our status has changed to issued......We are very thanful that the process was fast even with the 221g issuance. We are very happy campers!!!

We had to get a joint sponsor....had to get another NBI clearance....and had to show proof of domicile. Having lived here for over 3 years I had to prove I still had ties to the US. Wife had to get another NBI clearance because there was a name change many years ago. Once I got everything we mailed it off and 2 days after receiving they changed status to ISSUED. Hope all goes well for you!
