  1. Hi guys. I finally got approved from CSC august filer with RFE and got a letter of approval today!

    JUNEIKO...............08/14/15......08/17/15......09/07/15......08/11/16 (RFE received 04/14/16 & RFE complied 07/05/16)

So it took 7 months from the first biometric to receive RFE request. I sent them big big documents that they request plus additional documents and it only took 40 days from then to get approved. Hope this information help some of you guys who's still waiting.

ps I'm not sure how to update the table and don't want to mess it up. If anyone can update for me I thank you very much.

  2. We've just received a RFE also. With a long list of very specific things they find not supporting the marriage. I just dont know what to do now. A lot of thing I cannot provide and can only give explanation as to why. Time to dig deep into RFE threads. Do you think I should hire a lawyer? We did not want to spend a lot of money so we prepared all document ourselves. Now maybe we need one.

  3. I'm CSC and still checking status online everyday but nothing's changed. Several ppl on September filers have got the approval. So now I'm kinda waiting to hear bad news. :crying:

Anybody with updates? I guess there are a couple of us from CSC that haven't been approved yet. We don't have an RFE or interview, just nothing. Its mildly annoying. We will just apply for my husband's citizenship in May.

Where does VSC stand with their approvals, anybody from August get anything yet?

  4. I'm starting to feel anxious I havent received any mail and I couldn't check status online. So if I haven't done e- request I cannot check status online right? for people who receive email update do u received the physical mail also? I'm waiting everyday now to check my mail and I just can't stop thinking about it. I've checked the June and July fliers and they got approved to about 80% then stop and that makes me worry even more.

  5. wife got her 2 year green card yesterday. hopefully k2 (child) comes today. wife already has ticket for Vietnam visit. Ill miss her the 20 days she is gone. cause I get to take care of the kid on my own. ;) and I love her also ;)

    Congrats!!! What a great news.

I received green card almost a month ago but the information on the card was incorrect so I had to send it back. Still don't know when will get it. Hopefully soon.

  6. I would never admit to the first filing being fraudulent , just say you couldn't cope with distance and are wanting to try again to be together now.

I kinda agree with this comment actually. I know its' a lie but you don't have to tell the whole truth. If you are both really love each other there are a lot more points you can prove the marriage is real and you guys love each other. Honesty is great don't get me wrong but too honest I'm not sure if it works for the world we live in right now.

    again. just my opinion.

  7. No. I filed for AOS. They sent me notice of action for interview date. But along with that notice of action they have sent a checklist, which is for naturalization. So I am trying to find out everyone got checklist like that with their AOS interview letter or they sent it to me by mistake.

I think it might be a mistake too. I got interview letter for AOS and with that paper (same page) there are some checklists for document that need to be brought. No neutralization or nothing. plus you can't bring them anyway. first thing they want is for u to bring the green card, which i assume you don't even have it yet.

I would just ignore it. or for ur state of mind you might call them to make sure. :)

  8. Congratulations!!

what did you take with you to the interview??

Thanks olsan3! we took every original and a copy of important documents like marriage certificate and birth certificate, which came in handy when the officer couldn't find marriage certificate that we submitted with the form i-130 and i-485. we also brought every supporting documents that we file with i-130 plus new documents (like new utility bills since last submit) which we didn't get asked for them. Tons of photos where we put highlight of each event into one album (about 50 pics) and very detailed into the 2nd album (about 300 pics) which the officer did not asked to see at all and I arranged those photos all night crying.gif I also brought the copy of I-130 and I-485 packets too. To sum it up, we brought everything we could think of. content.gif

ps how did you do losangelesgirl? we had the same interview date. hope you hear good news.

  9. You need to take your work authorization, and passport, to SSN office in your area, No appointments there.. but token no. when you get there, wait for your no, submit a form (you can download online ss5) then they'll send it to your address about a week or two later. You'll need this usually to get a driver's lic

Thanks veer143. that is awesome. now i just have to wait for the combo card. :)
