    Just wanted to wish lots of luck to all my fellow VJers that are still going this very difficult journey. My hubby and I are doing great. Found out we are two months pregnant and we couldn't be happier. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and with patience and love you will all get there. Best wishes to all.

    It's been over two months that my hubby has been home. Things have been good. A lot of getting used to. Wishing all my fellow VJers that have their significant others home are also doing well. Those that have upcoming interviews the best of luck.

    Hey guys. My hubby has been home for a few days now and I must say its been so easy getting used to having another person in the house. It seems like such a long time ago that we were just communicating over the phone and now I get to come home to him. It's the best feeling in the world. Wishing that all you guys get to experience the same thing soon. I'll be praying for all of you especially those that have interviews soon and those that are in AP. Good luck to you all.

    It's been a roller coaster of a day. This morning when I call Domex I find out my hubby's paperwork is on its way to his house. Extremely excited once he finally had the packet in his hand. Then I had to go thru hassle of paying immigrant fee. Not an easy task. I was never told that the A number needed to pay the fee would appear on the visa without an A in front. I'm also looking for a nine digit number. After countless calls to my hubby telling him that he was not looking in the...

    On my way back to NY without my hubby. Did not receive packet on time for us to travel together. Hopefully Friday will be the big day. Bye DR gonna miss you and your cold Presidentes.

      Thanks. They do not give you the option to pick up or have it delivered. I was told to keep calling and once they had the packet in hand I could make arrangements to pick up or have it delivered.

    Extremely happy right now. We were approved yesterday and after we thought we were on AP we noticed today that the visa had been issued and printed. Now we just waiting on domex for the packet. Hopefully my hubby will be coming home with me. Thanks again to everyone here for all your help and support. I wrote review but haven't checked if its up. My Internet is kinda slow. In touch soon. Now on to really celebrate.

    Just wanted to thank YA 1127 and sweet love0510 for your kind words. I've been so busy these days doing all those things around the house preparing for his arrival. Now that I'm actually getting it done I'm like, "I should've done this months ago." Where has the time gone? I'll make sure to take notes for you guys. One thing that was advised to me by somebody who has gone through the process is to take all my paperwork to a lawyer who has experience handling immig...

      I leave Friday. Can't wait. We're going to spend two days at a resort before our interview just to relax and spend much needed quality time together. I have so much stuff to take but yet I feel like that one thing they're going to ask for I'm not going to have. You know how it is.

      Awww your are so welcome. We are all on the same boat ready to bring our hombres home. Con dios adelante we will all have approvals and have them here soon. Im trying to get everything organized and all set and hoping I bring everything I need. Im sure everything will work out great keeping both you ladies in my prayers. :)

    Mother Nature please forgive me for all the trees I am killing while printing out all this paper evidence for my interview. Keep in mind it is for a good cause. If you help me get approved I'll plant a tree somewhere to make up for it :-)

    My hubby just had his medical done today. It was $290. He had to take the appt letter, three pics, his passport and cedula. Hope this helps.

      You know im a bit paranoid with them sending the results directly cuz my boss is currently waiting for a urine result of her in-laws that wasnt sent to the embassy on their interview and til this day they are still waiting for it and their interview was over a month ago. So no se ke hacer de verdad. But anyways...it is what it is i guess.

      Well he said there were no urine tests done on him but with the way things are in DR you can never be too sure what surprises might happen. He wasn't given the option of picking them up but that may be something you could have him ask if you're more comfortable doing that.

    April has come and gone and still no interview date :-( Guess we are looking at a June date because NVC said this morning that we did not make the May interviews. Must remain patient and know that in the end this long and difficult journey will have its rewards :-)

      I kind of thought it would be June too I thought May would be too soon especially when it comes to dr. I just hope and pray is June the wait is just too much. Hopefully the three of us will hear something soon fingers crossed.

      so when u called this morning NVC said you missed the May interview pool ! thats ridiculous ! they should be able to tell you when they schedule the interviews like other countries ! ughh so annoying , i honestly cannot wait for it to b over its so much stress on one person

      Yes. They said that I should call back in two weeks to check for an interview date (as if I can actually wait that long to call) and that I would not be having a May interview date. I was expecting a June date but it still sucks to not even have that date so that I could start planning my trip. Still waiting...let's hope for some news soon. Good luck to us all.
