  1. Hi everyone,

I got my permanent resident card in July 2013 and am now applying for citizenship using the N 400 form. The form asks for USCIS Online Account Number.

I have the A number. I have a receipt number starting with WAC ........... I seem to have a USCIS online account in that I have a username and password. But when I got to the profile section (as stated in the form's instructions) to look for the online account number there is no mention of it. Where do I find this??

    Thank you!

  2. Thanks for all the good advice and support!!

I know the in-laws devour del taco as well as el ranchito. Sure maybe they're not eating real Mexican food at all!

I'm going to just try to find a dish I can like and stick with that. I don't want to be a stick in the mud every time there a party!!

This and the concrete super highways everywhere are going to be my 2 biggest challenges, so far that I can think of!

But there' are so many positives to the big move. And life is always eventful, so onwards and upwards!

  3. Ah no I don't mean to be controversial! Well not too much! It's more tongue in cheek!

But I've been over a few times (Southern California) and there is a lot of emphasis on Mexican food. And my in laws , who are not Mexican LOVE it. It's their go to food. So I have found if you're not as in love with it as they are it's a bit hard!

And it's not corned beef, it's bacon and cabbage- which I love!!

    And I love potatoes!!

Maybe because my diet is so stereo typically Irish that's why I find it so hard!!

  4. Hi Loughrey,

Sorry my bad. My visa route is a little different to yours. You are applying for the fiancé visa whereas I am the spouse visa- I'm already married.

My case spent much longer at NVC than yours did/will. I sent all my paperwork there (I 184, police certificate etc) and when NVC are happy they say Case Complete and they scheduled appointment in embassy for me.

The K 1 visa is different as you know and I wouldn't know the exact details of the procedures involved with you visa- sorry.

When I said I rang and made an appt, I meant for medical in the Blackrock clinic. And they never asked me for my interview letter and didnt really care. Now maybe that's different for K1 visa- I don't know if they will just let you come in and do medical without embassy interview.

Also I see you have another post with a question.

I had to get a couple of booster shots on the day at my medical and they were fully included in the cost of the medical. I didn't have any official immunization records, the doctor just asked me what I knew about what shots I'd had as a kid and I went from there.

Hope this has been some help. Sorry about the earlier confusion. If you've anymore questions feel free to ask.

    Good luck!

  5. I didn't do the K1 visa so I don't know the order of when you get things done.

But I can tell you once I rang to book my appointment it took a week and half to get a free appointment. I think the doctor only does US visa medicals on a Tuesday. After I did the medical I got the results 1 week later, including the TB results.

Oh and I didn't even have my interview date at that stage and so had no letter. That didn't cause any problems.

The case number for Dublin will start with DBL.

    Hope this is some help.
