yea, I have the same issue. I will be out of country for more than 2 weeks, starting April 11th. VSC is starting send biometrics appointment towards Jan filers, I hope in March, I will get biometric appointment letter. I do not want worry about missing biometric appointment while I am out of country for 2 weeks.

I finally get my biometrics appointment letter today for April 1st at 2:00pm. I am glad i can leave the country without worries.

Hi guys, I thought that Feb filers are going thru Biometrics in March, but Vermont are running late again (what a surprise). I will be out of the country for 10 days, starting April 7th. What should I do, to make sure I won't miss my appointment. Should I call USCIS in advance? If I don't receive the letter on time and miss the appointment, am I gonna get a new date, or I'll be in trouble for not showing up? Thank you for your help!

check this link. The VSC has informed AILA that due to technical issues with its biometric scheduling system, there has been a "temporary halt in sending biometrics notices in all cases at VSC with the exception of TPS-related applications." VSC's developers are working on the problems and biometrics appointment notices are expected to be sent out again starting February 12, 2015.

I am also Feb filer, send my i-751 on Feb 23 to VSC, and get NOA notice on Feb 25. Now i am waiting for my biometric appointment. It is good to know carry get biometric appointment letter, cuz i heard VSC had issue about schedule biometric system, which cause delay of 2014 Dec and 2015 Jan filer, some of them still did not receive their biometric appointment. anybody know anything about this?

The Vermont Service Center has informed the public that it is currently experiencing issues with its biometric scheduling system. This has resulted in a temporary halt in sending biometric notices in all cases at the Vermont Service Center, with the exception of temporary protected status related cases. The glitch affects cases filed in December 2014 and January 2015.

The Vermont Service Center has a team of developers working on the problem. They expect to have the problem resolved by the end of this week. Biometric notices are expected to be sent out as soon as the scheduling system is repaired. The Vermont Service Center apologizes for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused.
