Hello!
My mom's petition was approved Jan 26,so right now all i have to do is wait til they forward the case to NVC right? While waiting what should i gather?
I have been reading here but i am just overwhelemed with all the information its like i cannot even comprehend.. Too much to think while this is in process.
Please let me understand what to do next after approval. Thank you so much.
I have my interview in Indianapolis this morning and i PASSED yeyeye...now going to wait for the oath ceremony letter in the mail, IO told meit might be by October.
Here is my experience this morning.
Arrived really early at 6.40 am for 8 a.m interview, left home early bec it is a 3 hour drive and Indy usually is high traffic. So got to the building around 7.50 a.m,have to wait outside til they open.
At 7.55 am the door was opened and formed in line for security check,8.00 window opened submitted my notification for interview,5 mins after that my name was called first.
IO was pretty nice, got into his office and started right away...He went through with the application papers and asked question and answers just to confirm validity, started my civics test and here are the questions he asked...
WHAT IS FREEDOM OF RELIGION?
NAME ONE STATE THAT BORDERS CANADA?
WHEN WAS THE CONSTITUTION WRITTEN?
WHEN MUST ALL MEN REGISTER FOR SELECTIVE SERVICES?
WHAT OCEAN IS ON THE EAST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES?
HOW MANY U.S SENATORS ARE THERE?
I answered all correctly then moved on to reading test.
What do we have to pay to the government?
then on to the written test
We pay taxes.
Everything went really well today and now i will have to wait for the oath letter. I am so excited that i am almost done w this process and can move on to studying for RN test.
