Well I would just say that be 100% confident. Body language should be very positive...

In the last phase of the interview when he gave me green sheet I told him that I hope I will be there by august .he asked me why august ?? I said my wife is in states and expecting a baby. I wish I will be with her. And he smiled and noted it down I guess..... CO was a nice man.

On the interview day the CO said it verbally that they are going to put your case in AP? Did they give you green sheet and American Express service locations sheets? Did they also give you a slip that says you will need to pay $165 once you receive your package?

Yes CO said that I need to face this mandatory administrative process and I can take from 2weeks upto year . He gave me green sheet ...but my interview went really well. CO was very friendly. My documents were complete ..

My fiance and I have just entered 9 months of AP , and we are starting to wonder if the embassy ever plans on giving him a visa or if this whole thing is some strange game where they play with people's lives .

I have been looking through posts everyday on VJ, including the Pakistan Portal but havent seen any posts of couples being approved after a long wait .

I had my interview in Islamabad embassy on 28th may. And I was put in ap. My wife petitioned me and it was ir1 catagory. few day back my case were being updated every day and on 15th July it appeared issued on ceas. Yesterday I got my passport in hand. my ap duration was 1.5 months. thanks god .

I got approved. My visa has been issued

Today when i checked my status it said"Your visa has been printed and can pick it up in a day or two.

I am so happy that i m out from ap in just two and a half weeks.I am thankful to all of you .I pray to Allah you may also get your visa soon.

I am going to buy a ticket and will be with my love soon

Hi Amer, on which date you had your interview.

just take the printouts of ds230. follow the instructions. attach supporting documents like police certificate, marraige certificate, birth certificate, etc. Once ds 230 get approved. they will send you final letter giving you your interview date and medical instructions

i also had my my interview on 28th May. they put me under ap. waiting for the good news now ...the good thing about my case is that my status update is keep on changing. it is changed 5 times so far. So finger crossed. i hope will get the visa within 2 months.

Yesterday night (2:00am). My phone was on vibration mode. I missed the calls from unknown numbers. It was not from Pakistan. I do not have any access to call them back on those numbers. Really worried.

hi every one. My joint sponsor is not meeting the poverty guideline. My primary sponsor (wife) is also not doing any job in the states. However i have personal bank statement of Rs10 million (100,000 dollars). Can i show it to CO during the interview to satisfy him... that i can support my self and can manage expenses at my own.

It depends on the embassy, some do not allow foreign assets.

How much is your primary sponsor (your wife) short, and how much is 10 million rupees in dollars?

My wife is not doing job ..My father in law is my joint sponsor .... he is 10,000 dollars short.

10 million ruppes = 100,000 Dollars ...which are more then enough i think.

today my aunty (US Citizen) told me that interivew is just formality for IR1 catagory. so nothing to worry. is it so?

well.. dats all up to ur CO,99.9% people on AP without any reason..and dats normal...anyway best of luck.

Hi every one. My wife is US citizen. She is my petitioner. My daughter is also a US citizen. NVC has completed my processing and i got P4 (interview date). I have submitted all the required documents which has been accepted by NVC for their pre processing. My interview is scheduled on 28th May 2013. I have been going trhough different cases posted on VJ. Most of them are put into an administrative process. I wanted to know that is this a compultion for every one to face administrative process or is there any chance to get the visa on the spot. My case is strong. Should i expect some positive response from the embassy or just mentally prepare for AP. Need your rational feedback
